    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Exactly. But we can only hope for consistency. I fear we will not get it.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Goodness me. People can make accidental contact with each other's heads in rugby. Now there's a thing. Again. If there is head contact it has to be dealt with consistently. If it looks intentional it is a red or a post-match sanction. If there is video evidence of intentional eye contact it...

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Complete nonsense. Aussie are pissed about the Swinton card and now you want to see retaliation.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

erm that is my point. any head contact is going to get punished. There is no mitigation.

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Exactly. Dunno what they do now. Experimenting against the Blacks is hardly a good idea. Janjoes has always played well off the bench against the ABs so I hope he gets a shot. We need some changes. Mostert looks exhausted. Duane is not fit. Time for a change at 15. Faf is in poor form and...

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

I don't think is specific to this ref. Look it up. There are a number of clear directives this year. ANY head contact, however marginal will be punished. Add that that the wrap that was borderline and 9/10 times this will be a card. There have been quite a few like this so far this year.

The Ab tests would have been WAAAY different had it not been for those quick one-two scores by the Abs. Momentary brainfarts. Missed tackles in the first test. Lack of patience leads to intercepts or bad decision-making on attack. Against the boks your mob was patient. It's almost as if the...

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

They looked tired and almost disinterested. Not taking anything away from the Wallabies. Smart rugby thoroughly deserved to beat dumb rugby. Been saying this all along: hold your own physically against the Boks and get ahead on the score. We have no plan B to start scoring out of structured...

    TRC2021 - Wallabies v Boks @ Suncorp 18/09

Hmm. Don't like the bok selections: 1. Orie at lock? I guess with De Jager on concussion protocol they had no choice. 2. Same bench - three short loosies and no big bruiser. / extra lineout option. Should have brought JL du Preez onto bench 3. No high % kicker on the bench. Complete lack of...

RC - Wallabies vs Springboks, Gold Coast Sunday 12 September 8:05 PM

I find the concept of a person representing a country in anything without being a citizen totally bizarre. Some SAF players in England, Ireland, and France have played test matches and once they retire they have to leave (no visa). It's bullshit.

Best NH ref I have seen since Nigel Owens.

The Bok scrum has been immense since the World Cup, regardless of the personnel. They were lazy in the last scrum. How ironic then that they should lose a tight game off a scrum, with such depth at prop. Just shows it's an eight-man effort, and you have to be 100% switched on. They had two...

You test the ref. Then you do what he allows. nothing new. I thought this ref was excellent. Consistent. Great communicator.

Am ran a great line on the 22 and dropped the ball. he had two runners on hos outside coming at pace. It looked like a draw and pass to me. I think he could have done better in the grounding when Tate got under him.

For the Boks, this should cause some introspection. The game plan in itself is not sustainable. If you are slightly off, you get into trouble. Smart tactics will expose you. Wallabies did what the Lions failed to do. Having said that we botched two tries (both Am) and our goal kicking was...

I think this will be a LOT closer than people think. Play helter skelter and get a lead and you are in with a shot. Go toe to toe and try and muscle up and you are not. The Boks are going to slow this right down in the first fourty and risk nothing. They want to drag you into shitfight.
