I hope they both have more success than the 2018 Sponsors, Legacy Property and Investment Group, who the Rebels instigated liquidation procedures against in February this year with a $1.3 m amount not paid for a season of free advertising on front of jersey.

the MRRU Board should be able to answer that : Gary Gray, Tim North, Lyndsey Cattermole, Bob Dalziel AM , Owain Stone (the accountant) oh and Docherty, the Chairman. I may have missed one. But, if memory serves me, from COmpany law 101, the directors are personally responsible for the company if...

And one final thought, what became of Todd louden? Who started with them again this season , but I have a feeling he only stayed up until the start of the tidal turn. Anyone know if he is still in Melbourne?

Again, more fool the board if they don't take action

    Rebels 2020

A few days ago, Paul Cully wrote of Daryl Gibson that 'one finals appearance in four years with a team stacked with Wallabies is underperformance pure and simple. More fool the board had they allowed Gibson to continue on for another year. At least the self-aware coach didn't appear to be...

well, what is the viewship for SA games? would it be worth it? For me, I am fine watching a Friday night game at 5.30 EST and same again Sat, gives me time to go out later and not bother with the almost non existent Aus games

2019 TV ratings and crowd numbers

I don't think it matters in the count whether the tickets are paid for or freebies because I also know that freebies are thrown about Melbourne like candy (registered school players free and so on) yet people don't want to go.

Surely O'Connor has burnt his bridges for the last time. Surely sanity will prevail.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

The franchise models need to be self sufficient. My understanding is that RA pay the player salaries and the travel costs. The administration, match day costs and off field support staff needs to be funded by the club itself. Revenue streams include: Club membership, walk ins on match day, sales...

Looking to the future, 2021, not playing the Sunwolves twice in a season will (imo) drag down our win/loss ratio.

not an argument, just an observation sir

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Umm, as far as the 'merge' goes, let me see, that would mean 3 or 4 homes games for each of Melbourne and Canberra, if we were to split the games. At present, the Melbourne Weary Dunlop Membership is circa $2000 for between 7 and 8 home games and some fried food (drinks not included). I don't...

Catermole, Dalziel have been on the board since 2015 and remained as advisors during Cox's time. North, Swaine, Hay and Gray have been around since pre Cox and are back again post Cox. Docherty is the only new board member

The current administration is still being directed by the same Board of Directors from 2014, so nothing has changed. As far as Baden Stephenson goes, he has been with the club since probably that time, starting in a different role, think he was the team manager or something.
