Absolutely right. Fairly naive letter in both its timing and language.

Super Rugby AU Round 8 - Brumbies vs Waratahs @ Canberra Stadium - Saturday 22 August @ 7.15pm

I agree. His scrum interpretations have been bewildering at times. I never noticed them being that bad in previous games. He actually looks confused at times. I hope it’s just a case Of being a good ref out of form.

It’s never been any different Marlow. Captain of 1sts last year rowed. Captain of 1sts 3 years ago rowed. I could go on. My son was in the shed 5 years and plays rugby so I’m pretty familiar with the process. I’m not really keen to engage with this discussion but I can say that as the S&C has...

Super Rugby AU Round 8 - Brumbies vs Waratahs @ Canberra Stadium - Saturday 22 August @ 7.15pm

He was really disappointing. He’s passing was off tonight and that has been one of the better parts of his game to date. Might be time to give Donaldson a run.

I thought MacKellar had stuffed up resting all the players he did but that was a really good performance by the Brumbies. Their tries were really well constructed and they competed hard at the breakdown to really disrupt the Tahs. A Wallabies team primarily made up of Brumbies and Reds might go ok.

Horton has picked a bad night to lose his radar

That is one of the great urban myths of GPS. From this years 1st and 2nd viii there are at least 7 rowers playing rugby in either the 1st’s, 2nd’s or 3rd’s. From the 1st and 2nd iv there are at least 3 rowers playing 1sts, 2nds or 3rds. And they are just the ones I know of. This is a really...

Super Rugby Au Round 8 - Force vs Reds @ Cbus Stadium, 7:05pm Friday 21st August

There are some good juniors coming through too. Last years WA U18's academy beat Victoria and NSWJRU and only just lost to Brumbies in a nailbiter. At least 2 of the boys are likely to get funded via the fighting fund.

    Wallabies 2020

Yep. After watching the game tonight that’s my backline too. I think Daugunu is a lock in now and O’Connor is setting up his outside players really well and generally making good decisions. We will have 2 goal kickers, some pace out wide and good defenders from 9-15. As Gregan said in commentary...

Yes this years Yr10 (u16's) have been successful over the years and the current Yr11's have been solid without regular success so theoretically next years team might be better however their ceiling will be limited, as always, by next to zero intake of new talent relative to the other schools...

I wish the Sydney papers would pick up their coverage. The Australian is pretty good but it is getting fairly dire otherwise. Fairfax are ramping up their NRL coverage which is unsurprising given the acquisition by Channel 9 - cross promotion is their specialty.

Super Rugby AU Round 8 - Brumbies vs Waratahs @ Canberra Stadium - Saturday 22 August @ 7.15pm

Theoretically a good swap for Hunt then. There was an article earlier in the year saying he had lost some weight to increase his agility so you might be right about his speed. He still holds the GPS shot put record with no-one going anywhere near his mark in the last few years so must have...

Interesting they put Nick Malouf on the bench and not Moeroa. They seem determined not to try him out.

Thanks Rob: https://www.2gb.com/confusion-over-cancelled-gps-sport-as-minister-confirms-it-can-go-ahead/ I guess the disappointing thing about this is that it took the GPS committee until Friday morning to get a clarification however community sport had clarity by Wednesday. We could have got...

Yes - sorry - my point was they are showing his nationality as Japanese (not Australian).

Kubota Spears Wikipedia page is showing Opeti Helu has opted for Japan (over Australia). If true thats a real shame.

The correspondence I receved yesterday from the school indicated that they were "strongly requesting" a review of the the state government's decision so I suspect they are seeking a clarification from the Department of Health, just as the community sports bodies did on Wednesday. Note that the...

Super Rugby Au Round 7 - Reds v Rebels @ Suncorp Stadium, 7:15pm Sat 15 Aug

I also noticed that on the weekend. In contrast count the amount of times you see Harry Wilson as the last line in cover defence in games. They both bring great things to the table in terms of No.8 options but Harry (I think) does a lot off the ball which can be valued.

Big call to ask Kata to defend at outside centre too especially with Maddock's line busting form at present.

Not Fell? I’d take him over those 3 although I haven’t seen much of Poolman.
