    Western Force 2024

Force seem to have had a huge injury list in recent years. Biggest issue has to be the management of Rodda's return to play.

Super Round had a great atmosphere, thanks largely to amazing footy but plenty of travelling fans. Another 5000 per day and it would have been a roaring success. Wonder what impact the Rebels chat had on the crowd numbers.

The fact that the Waratahs got themselves into the financial position they did, depsite operating in the biggest city in the country (and a Rugby city at that), whilst irrelevant to the plight of the Rebels, is absolutely reprehensible for all associated.

A crack at a 33-man squad of Australian based players, excluding any confirmed to leave Aus Rugby at end of 2024 Bell, Slipper, Tupou, Ala'ala'toa, Schoupp Porecki, Faessler, L.Lonergan Frost, Rodda, Canham, Swain McReight, Valetini, Leota, Wilson, T.Hooper, Gleeson, Gamble McDermott, Fines...

What about Super Rugby running through the mid-year series and then concluding in time for TRC (which conceivably could be pushed slightly further back)? 25 players missing Super Rugby for each of AU & NZ would be mitigated by the exposure it gives younger players and the extra game time for...

    Qld Premier Rugby 2024

Without being a dickhead little old mate above, some teams play around 2nd Grade Bris level, others maybe 3rd. There's definitely players every year who could cut the mustard in QPR or Shute Shield, usually transplanted Kiwis or from the NH

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

I really was underwhelmed by the open letter on the website. Seemed to deflect a lot from the actual concerns supporters have about long term financial viability https://melbournerebels.rugby/news/statement-from-ceo-20231220

Amazon Prime is taking on BeinSports so for those of us who have had to have that standalone sicne they left Foxtel (e.g. round-ball fans) it's an exciting development

What a shit take. It's a park league. He had o0ne serious injury that ruled him out for the year but the bloke is a renowned elite trainer. Why not have a crac? Would be less than 100k I'd say for 5 months work

I like SBW as a circuit breaker. Not everybody needs to be as knowledgable as Morgs or as polished as Atko

    Rugby 7s general chat

Why do we need a sustainable domestic product for them when the global product is convincing them to extend at the moment? What makes you so sure they won't sign another few 2-3 year deals like so many of the squad have?
