5th grade and 4th grade will still be actively pissed instead of their usual hungover

    Queensland Reds 2024

OTAs already happened and training camp begins for most teams in a week. If he makes a decision on exploring an NFL career it will probably be soon.

Lots of talk about players not being happy with the way training sessions were run among other things.

"Bond is conveniently located with heaps of great atmosphere, they should definitely host more matches" -not a single soul

    Australian Rugby / RA

You don't understand, selling merchandise that appeals to Australian rugby supporters is actually bad. Especially when the previous collection sold out. It must be true because a smattering of NRL/AFL fans who don't even follow rugby said so online.

Absolutely terrible and sad. Was talking about it with a few mates and the insurance payout is not nearly what anyone would value the use of their limb at. Hopefully the wider community comes together and helps Jordan out.

You'd hate to call UQ's performance a choke, but that's what it was.

    Ballymore Redevelopment

Can we not knock off one of the few music festival venues Brisbane has? We don't need to stick a white elephant of a stadium in the showgrounds on behalf of a couple relatively unfollowed sports. King St and that north part of the valley/south part of bowen hills will develop organically on its...

sounds like someone is gearing up to apply for a postgrad Med slot

    Wallabies 2024

Honestly in a dream world where RA has unlimited money for infrastructure upgrades, I'd never let a single Wallaby or SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) contracted player touch artificial turf. Especially given that most are using their regular boots with FG moulded studs on it.

    QLD Colts 2024

You've got Wallaroos and contracted 7s players starting alongside women who have never played rugby before. The numbers aren't there to expand more at the moment.

    Wallabies 2024

He's 35 and came back into the demands professional rugby relatively recently. A lot of the time ruptures are associated with load increases. Could be a variety of things though or just bad luck on a background of risk factors.

Even from an injury perspective, his hamstring issues seem to precede his union career. Obviously we're just talking heads on the internet, but I would love to know what the initial prognosis and performance testing prior to his signing showed compared to where he's at now. It seems like he's...

The expectation if you're a signed professional, let alone one with Wallaby caps, should be to dominate at the club rugby level. What in the world were the talent evaluation staff at the Reds and RA thinking?

you don't think a handful of marquee foreign players would draw more interest in the game here?

On the contrary, it was a thoughtful interview with heaps of constructive ideas. Worth a listen even if you don't care for him as a person.

Quade Cooper did a 2 hour interview with YKTR on youtube concerning the state of Australian rugby and what needs to be done to fix it. All of his points sound like things written here verbatim.

Could be simultaneously true that Norths colts develop more because they get greater Prem exposure but the actual quality of Prem grade suffers for having so many colts in it. Don't have a dog in the fight or an actual insight to offer, but they aren't mutually exclusive possibilities.

That feels like it has the potential to be needlessly controversial. Regardless of what happens with that GPS coach, they should swap the referees around.

    Aussie Player Exodus

The thing is, IPP recruits aren't taking up a normal roster spot. The NFL is giving teams permission to take them on with no downside. If you're an NFL team, you're losing out if you're not taking a flyer on someone like Petaia Sure you'd prefer a Jordan Mailata to a Petaia but there's not a...
