    Super Rugby General Chat

Moana only playing twice at Mount Smart this year (R12 v Chiefs & R14 v 'tahs). Other home game venues are Eden Park (R6 v Blues), Whangarei (R8 v Reds) & Nuku’alofa (R11 v Highlanders). Moving them to NH would be a disaster IMO, it's barely fit for Super Rugby & Stadiums Auckland don't appear to be...

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

Week 4: Friday 15/03 Crusaders v Hurricanes 19:05 NZDT Saturday 16/03 Chiefs v Drua 19:30 & I think there will be a considerably bigger crowd than what we saw Friday night just gone.

Round 3: Reds vs Chiefs, 6:45pm AEST - Saturday 9th of March @ Suncorp

^ Facebook activity suggests a fair number of those Chiefs supporters will be wifey's relations. Personally I blame whoever decided to give the bit of SEQ wedged between the Goldy, Brissy & Ippy a name that rhymes with "Bogan". Was always going to be a Chiefs-catchment magnet.

Super Rugby 2024: NZ, Drua & Moana matches

Oh dear. Loss Bleus 6/2 bench appears to have imploded & triggered a nuclear chain reaction that may well lay waste to vast swathes of the Auckland isthmus. Shame, that.

CruSadists 10-0 at 1/4 mark... Drua 20 unanswered... I'm calling this the Choker In Lautoka (if it were inland a bit it'd be the Crumble In The Jungle).

Interesting that in the article quoted by @zer0 Moana's CEO says Pukekohe isn't up to broadcast standard then in the one quoted by me he says it is. Bloke should go into politics.

^ not according to Moana's CEO Pelenato Sakalia: “There’s no doubt you can broadcast a game from [Pukekohe], but the issue is that Moana Pasifika don’t pack out stadiums and if you look at the angle of the broadcast, they don’t film into the main stand, they film into the embankment. “If...

^ clash with Warriors was probably why they didn't go to Pukekohe you'd think.

    Round 3: Waratahs v Highlanders - Friday 8 March 2024

Did the 'tahs captain say anything to the ref? If he did & got ignored that's unacceptable & an issue for his ref's assessment; if not he has to wear it.

    Round 3: Moana Pasifika v Rebels - Friday 8 March 2024

Norris's card remains Yellow which is fair. Havili grabs Moana a losing BP. First win at FMG for Rebels.

    NZ Domestic comps

Well if they're already streaming club there's no real reason to not keep things rolling with Heartland after the club season is over. Hell, if they do that I might even sign up for it.
