Thought AL-B was in all sorts after staying face down for so long but he's back up & waving to the crowd so hopefully not as bad as it first looked.

Round 4: Highlanders v Brumbies. Sat 2.35PM AEDT @ Forsyth Barr, Dunedin

Ball hits hand = accidental offside. Hand plays at ball = deliberate (in the true sense of the word) = live with the consequences if you happen to be offside.

How is that "accidental" offside? Bloke fully played at it from an offside position. Billy angry at being benched last week & Harmin' people?

At least Cameron had the decency to return the favour... Trying to play dry weather footy when duck shooting season appears to have come early seldom works.

Fifth anniversary of the mosque mass-shootings. First time I can recall it falling on a game night (defo the first time it's fallen on a Friday) so will be interesting to see how it's marked & which of the dignitaries (& politicians) in town for the commemoration turn up.

    Super Rugby General Chat

The Auckland A-League expansion team launched today will play out of Mount Smart (but train at Albany initially at least), further complicating Moana's home ground issues. Pukekohe looking more & more like the sensible option.

^ yeah, Mount Smart is Warriors central so Pukekohe is probably the next-best option.

    Super Rugby General Chat

^ In a perfect world it's Mount Smart all the way as it's adjacent to the most likely supporter base. Unfortunately for Moana, however, the same is true for the Warriors esp on the back of their best season in a decade or more. The suggestion that maybe Pasifika people aren't that interested in...
