    Chiefs v Reds 7/6 QF

Creighton was certainly not perfect last night but the Reds seemed to play a lot more effectively after he came on.

    Wallabies 2024

I reckon Tate's best is still in front of him. Can see him being in the mix for the Wallaby spot for years yet. I don't see Thomas in that class at all. I won't be surprised if Werchon surpasses Thomas along the way.

    Brumbies 2024

Canberra Times reporting Tom Hooper being the last to recommit to the Brumbies. Considering an attractive ($s, perhaps in no other way) offer from the RA Tahs, but close to signing on again with the Brumbies. I take it that both Lolesio and Toole have re-signed but not yet announced. However...

Actually, MacKenzie is the problem. He's just too good.

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Isn't that what currently happens with Amazon Prime, and Paramount. Free viewing and paid subscription are both side by side.

    Brumbies 2024

As for hookers, it looks like we've got a good'un coming through in Liam Bowron. Still U20s eligible I think.

Quarter Final: Brumbies v Highlanders Sat 8th 7.35PM @ GIO STADIUM

https://brumbies.rugby/news/canberra-imaging-group-injury-report-quarter-final-202463 Slipper, Brown and Cale all expected to be back from injury and available for selection this weekend.

    Brumbies 2024

Although the Rebels haven't yet passed into history, there has been quite a bit of speculation about players moving on to other clubs or overseas. Some of them will apparently be very busy next year having been linked to multiple teams. But not a whisper about anyone heading for the Brumbies in...

    Wallabies 2024

Probably explains Jake Gordon's inclusion in the squad right now. His early release has already been quashed. Expect Jed's release to also be knocked back and then his inclusion in the squad to be announced. I think Holloway is a real chance of playing for the Wallabies this year. Gordon not...

    Wallabies 2024

I think Foketi, White and Donaldson are the only likely squad members when one is put together. Gordon, Kuenzle and Rodda are possibilities. The rest are just to make up numbers to allow some worthwhile coaching/training and game plan development to start to take place.

    Wallabies 2024

Uru was consistently one of the best in the Baa Baas games during the RWC last year. I reckon he would cope with little trouble.

    Wallabies 2024

I reckon (even though I'm a Brumbies fan) that Ryan Lonergan has done enough in recent weeks to earn a place on the bench behind Tate. His work from the base of the scrum has been a revelation in recent weeks, setting up a lot of attacking raids with Noah, Tom Wright and lately Cory Toole again...

    Wallabies 2024

A few comments Capalba. Looking for a second row that adds weight to the front row - imo that wouldn't be a combination of Frost and Canham. I think Frost should be there somewhere but that could be at 6 given his form there lately or on the bench. Canham is definitely one for the future. I am...

We can add to that list with Slipper, Lonergan, Cale.

Quarter Final: Brumbies v Highlanders Sat 8th 7.35PM @ GIO STADIUM

Will the Brumbies have a scrum at all next weekend? Slipper with a calf injury, Schoupp off with a shoulder injury and Vella also favouring his shoulder in the second half. Looks like van Nek to the rescue again, but who would be reserve LHP if Vella fails to come up?

    Round 15 of 15: Force v Brumbies Sat 1st 7.35PM (AEST) @ HBF Park

Top class comment Poking at you. Remind me who broke the Force's home ground winning streak? (of one, was it?)

    Round 15 of 15: Force v Brumbies Sat 1st 7.35PM (AEST) @ HBF Park

Fucking poor decision to go for a scrum 5m out and put the fate of the ball in the ref's hands. When will professional rugby players learn?
  19. Brumby Runner

    Waratahs v Reds - Friday 31/5

Reds will need to be wary about being too complacent. They did not defend like champions in the last period of the game. A very fortunate desperate ankle tap was all that saved them after a huge line break by Perese and a winning try to the Tahs was definitely a possibility. And without...

Having no NRC is better how?

Definitely an idea WCR but what happens with the rest of the players from the respective club competitions while these championship rounds play out? There will be a lot of class players not catered for even with representative sides. Up to 9 weeks of extra playing for the representative few is a...
