It'll either fail spectacularly, or you'll be hailed a genius

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

Thoughts:- - This game went pretty much as expected. The US were good enough to frustrate the wallabies for 40 minutes, but could only hang with us for so long. -The main highlight of the game for me was our scrum. absolute domination from the wallabies. Great sign heading into the RWC. Foley's...

True. I just feel that whichever team wins our pool will have all of the momentum (the true perk of being in the group of death). We know we can beat the all blacks on our day...also they love a good choke ;)

Worth a punt at that price. My current feeling is that if we top our group we'll go on to win the cup. However im not so sure we'll be able to beat england at twickenham

Wallabies v USA Eagles, 5th September, Soldier Field, Chicago

I really think the recent lineout problems stem mostly from the fact that simo has been the linchpin for a long time now, not only calling the lineouts and taking the majority of throws. The result is that we clearly havent adapted to playing without him. Prior to the test season, there was a...

Talk about an away jersey fail.

-Like the look of this team. actually, and I know others have already pointed this out ad nauseam, but it really showcases the depth of our squad at the moment is at an all time high. Anyone with a decent memory will remember years past when even our first choice bench options were a major fall...

If Taqele's going to be there anyway, im thinking might as well chuck him on the bench and lock him in. He could be quality option in a couple years time and he'll probably dominate in a game like this.

quite. perhaps suggests a lack of depth in some areas?

yeah that's what I was wondering too. I would think USA rugby would be disappointed if Folau wasn't selected, but thems the breaks

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

We were shit on the EOYT. Lets not try to sugar coat it. Agree you can really blame cheika too much for that. Our results this year speak for themselves though. To his credit, Cheika has turned things around impressively

I'm presuming that Australia has now moved back to 2nd in the world rankings? Also I believe the Welsh win might also see Wales leapfrog England into 5th spot.

thought Lilo was very good against Samoa. should have made the squad

    RWC Squads

The English squad looks strong but not as strong as it potentially could have been. Their centres dont exactly strike fear in your heart. Manu Tuilagi was a big loss imo. Likewise if there was 1 forward i would have preferred to avoid it would be corbisiero. His absence, along with Hartley's...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

I saw comments from Cheika about how he wanted to choose 2 full starting sides for opposed training purposes (which was presumably behind the decision to only select two hookers). We note just have someone in the coaching staff that can slot in at wing on the B side? Does anyone know the rules...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

If Cheika selected mcmahon just for the purpose of letting pocock and hooper rest against uraguay, that would be odd. We could very easily just play McCalman at 7. Hell play Mumm at 7 (he's apparently been selected for his versatility anyway). No disrespect the Uraguay, but I expect they'll...

Wallaby 31 players for 2015 RWC

If that's the case, why the Fk is McMahon in the squad? The backrow consists of 2 number 7s (more than enough) and 2 number eights. McMahon's selection suggest that he will be a back up 6/7 cover. If Cheika plans to play Mumm at 6 if Fardy is injured then McMahon's inclusion seems unnecessary...
