    Argentina v Australia, 8am Sunday 1 Sep (AEST) - TRC Round 3

Joe Schmidt is concentrating on getting what he sees as his best team for the series against the British Lions. That is his remit. With this in mind, I think that Joe will want to have a closer look at Tom Lynagh for the No 10 jersey against the Argies. He now knows what Lolesio can/cannot...

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

Joe is slowly introducing Lynagh to the international game. An opposing loose forward or a fast up in your face inside-centre in D have got their sights set on a novice 10 at this level. Breaks that present themselves at super level are much harder to find, and a resultant crash tackle from...

If we lose by less... that's got to be an improvement, isn't it?o_O

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 10th August 2.30pm AEST @ Suncorp,

why does the game stop for a player changing his boots? When a player suffers a minor injury, the game goes on around him. Why can't the unshod player temporarily retire from the field. Sounds like another Rassie ploy to rest his big forwards.

Sevens Lead In and Olympics 2024

Fiji beat Ireland in the other quarter final. I think this might suit Australia as the Irish style of play seems to have the wood on our guys, whereas our side can often have the wood on the Fijians. Fingers crossed.

    Wallabies v Georgia 20 July - Allianz Stadium 3.45PM

Isn't one of Liam Wright's strengths in the area of maul defence? And JS has suggested he's back in the team for Georgia.

    Wallabies v Wales, 6 July

Generally a younger team offering more moving on. Can anyone give BR a Bundy rum & coke to calm his :eek:apoplexy:eek: ;)

2024 Under 20 Rugby Champs all match discussion thread

Georgia were good until they ran out of steam in the second half. Their earlier defense was totally 'in your face', but so many tackles was probably their downfall

If you deleted the postings re Marky M (Nawaqanitawase) (Nawaqanitawase) , Eddie Jones, & Beale, you'd probably be lucky to have 1 page. The first 2 no longer part of the Wallabies, and the 3rd probably over the hill & unlikely to wear the gold jersey again.

    Wallabies 2024

I can't help thinking that Reds coach Les Kiss & Joe Schmidt have coached together previously. That Kiss's style of coaching would be similar to Schmidt's with a northern hemisphere flavour. Kiss has done very well with what he had to work with in the Red's this year, beating the Chiefs 25 -19...

    Chiefs v Reds 7/6 QF

OK. So maybe it wasn't breaking news.

    Chiefs v Reds 7/6 QF

Reds were comprehensively outplayed there. The Chiefs coaching Kiwi refereeing staff picked apart the Reds game plan perfectly. ;) That's breaking news

This team is the real deal.. To quote Budda.. "Go you good thing".

    Wallabies 2024

For this reason, and if Schmidt thinks like you (& me), then I'd go with Liam Wright at 6 & Bobby V at 8. LW has experience as captain, who talks well with the refs, does a lot of the hidden work in the rucks & mauls (is a thinking player), calls line outs and is the third jumper who's stats in...

Stewart I rate in that he adds versatility for the backs around him. As an opposing back, or as a spectator, you don't really know what he's going to do next - that's his point of difference.

Was that McKenzie's (Chiefs) dad about to have a shot at goal

Your comments use up valuable time & space unfortunately. Don't try to justify your rants.

    Round 14 : Reds v Force 24 May (Suncorp)

Shiggins, I'm finding your continual whinging on this game becoming very boring, and not very constructive. Go take a happy pill, and save your energy for next week when the Brumbies further dismantle the Force, which of course will all be the referees fault.

If Uru is back in the mix, then he will probably go in as 8 immediately.
