Chiefs vs Reds R9 Sat Apr 13th

If the reds win this game they are title contenders, if not it will be very hard to come back from it. I expect they will give it a red hot crack but I think the cheifs will win it by 3-7 points.

2013 IRB Junior World Championship - France

    One would think, Ha.

2013 IRB Junior World Championship - France

I have to say I don't like the current separation of 7's from super rugby, club rugby and U20's. In the past the 7's team churned out future super rugby players, but nowadays they seem to be picking project players out of the club comps who are probably not going to make it at super rugby and...

2013 IRB Junior World Championship - France

Surprised Reiser from UQ didn't make it considering he made the team last year and is still eligible. Also the fullback from UQ whose name escapes me but was instrumental in their victory over sunnybank on the weekend. I fear the selectors may have again gone for colts players over regular...

2013 IRB Junior World Championship - France

The 3 GPS clubs listed are the same club.

    Western Force 2013

I'd love to see: 9. Prior 10. Holmes 11. Mafi 12. Godwin 13. JOC (James O'Connor) 14. Cummins 15. Morahan Good mix of size, speed, pace and control. Multipul kicking options as well. And two local products!

    Western Force 2013

He also wouldn't fit in cap wise at the reds and probably waratahs depending on who re-signs. The brumbies don't seem too interested. I think he'll wait and see who the new rebels coach is and how the force go in the second half of the season and then sign a new contract in 3 or so months time.

    Western Force 2013

It makes sense to bring O'Connor back into the fold. He left because he thought the joint was headed in the wrong direction and no one was making changes. He was right, a lot of changes have been made. Maybe he's keen to head back to where it all started.

    Rebels 2013

I think Mitchell is a better player than Sidey. But I dont greatly rate either. I'd love to see the rebels give one of the younger guys like Roberts or Hegarty a run at 12.

    Rebels 2013

He is weak in both the scrum and lineout. He goes alright around the field but he's not the type of cornerstone player you need at hooker. There is a reason Kiwi teams pass on fringe players like Ged. The vast majority are not up to the standard. The exception are the guys that come over early...

    Wallabies Watch

I expect we will go into the first lions test with: 9. Genia 10. JOC (James O'Connor) 11. Folau 12. McCabe 13. Fainga'a/AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) 14. Ioane 15. Barnes Or maybe even a fat kurtley beale at 15 if we are lucky. Lord give me strength.

    Rebels 2013

I hope Sexton and Lahiff can add a bit of starch to the rebels front row next year. I expect Henderson, Robinson and Horie to be gone. Weeks and PAE to stick round presumably. I'd like to see leafa get a run some time soon.

I think on current form I'd have Bernard Foley right up there with lilo as the second choice 10 after Cooper. But JOC (James O'Connor) is also an option.

    Western Force 2013

I reckon there is still a chance the force could pick up some of the other UQ lads. Lance is the obvious one, but McDulling and S. Morahan might also get trials.

And the force wouldn't have splashed out the money to sign him if they weren't going to start him.

I can definitely understand the reasoning behind starting TPN. But on the flipside, I think the wallabies need to start getting ahead early in games, and Moore is crucial to making that happen. How often is it already too late once Moore got on the field.

    Balancing Your Backrow

Building on the OP I think there are secondary qualities that can make a good backrow a great one. In a 6 - Abrasiveness can really add a lot to the pack. In a 7 - you can't go past speed and 'rugby' smarts. In an 8 - a good set of hands, especially in the tight when under pressure.

    Wallabies Watch

Is TPN 'clutch' enough to be playing in a lions tour. Imagine with 2 minutes to go, we have a lineout 10m out on their line, is TPN going to nail that throw? And is he not going to drop the ball coming around the corner to hit it up a couple of phases later? I'm not saying he's not the second...

I think Hansons the third best hooker in the country, with the potential to be the second best.

Evolution at Green and Gold Rugby - PLEASE READ

But this is my point, what does it matter if there is the odd petty, biased or snide, comment or thread. It's an internet discussion forum, no ones losing sleep over it. Without the dummy spits and the ideological arguments, the posters here have no identity or depth to them. Its just mindless...
