    Wallabies 2023

Even for me Kemeny never gets the credit for all the work he does on the field. Never a real stand out, but never making big mistakes that stand out either.

Surely someone can start a new thread for RWC jerseys and keep this one to squad news etc

    Rebels 2023

Hopefully as the next head coach of the Rebels. Really should be for next season though not in a year to two years time.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

Agree with a lot, but Orr barely made the 23 this year, so not a big loss. Hodge being replaced by Proctor is even with plus/negative. Not a huge Philip fan, so replaced by LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) is a win for squad. Philip is quite arrogant and rubs team mates the wrong way, also our lineout works a lot better...

Let's steal Mikaele Ravalawa from league, played enough junior rugby that he is worth a shot.

    Aussie Player Exodus

Jordy is now at Gloucester, been there a couple of years now. Didn't realize he was going back to Earling

Petaia durability would be a concern for me having him on the bench, if his not starting I wouldn't pick him in the 23. If someone were to go down early and Petaia comes on I wouldn't trust him to be able to last the rest of the match, and if it's a 6-2 split your really taking a big risk.

Australia A - Back on the Cards

July is off season in the North, so no issue with releasing players.

Play once or twice a year and still break 90, when I was a teen and not working on summer holidays I had a single figure handicap. Then again in my 20's before life got real and in the way of having time to play.

It's a massive jump, he could easily become a club pro or play pro am tours. But jump from that level to full time tour pro is the same as a regular golfer jumping from 20 to single figures, not impossible but a huge improvement. Sounds fair, and that's only the Aus tour.

1 is a long way off successful pro golfer, most tour pro's would play off around +5, someone did a handicap for Dustin Johnson a few years ago over about 3 months and it came back as +12.

I think Meehan would have some serious issues with how he was treated in Melbourne, he was playing probably the best rugby of any 9 in Australia and just benched for Stirzaker returning from injury, Rebels had won 4 of there first 6. If I remember correctly the Rebels only went on to win another...

He has said he hasn't given up the dream of playing for the Wallabies, so would be a good option.

    Brumbies v Rebels Friday 2 June 7.35pm

Once a scrum is called you take off the extra backrower for a front row

    Brumbies v Rebels Friday 2 June 7.35pm

You replace the player when the scrum is called, until then an extra backrower is fine

He won't leave, his ego will want to add winning a Lions series to the CV. So win or lose his around another 2 years.

You would expect that team is able to beat Tonga and Romania comfortably. Which means you can rest the first team for the SA and Scotland games. Although the fixture is quite weird, 14 days between games 3 and 4 which is SA and Scotland.

The Walsh are in worse shape then the English, the RFU needs to take control back from the clubs. The ringed fence against promotion relegation is the real cause. These sides needed to be relegated to lower overheads and rebuild for a couple of seasons. Instead they stayed in the Prem...
