    Wallabies 2023

Kiwi prop who was born in Qld, Rebels signed him from the Chiefs and he played in Melbourne for a few seasons before going back to NZ. Was a preyty solid at scrum time, did not do to much with ball in hand.

Wallabies 2023 World Cup Positivity Thread

I wouldn't bet against you on this one, watching the Wallabies formation on the backs. It looked a lot like Ireland except you haven't had the practice at executing all the wrap around plays yet. Was quite a few times Gordon was in a position behind the wing on center to receive the 2nd pass...

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

Watched the game live, have not watched a replay. I actually thought the Wallabies back line was lining up almost identically to how the Irish line up, problem is it's taken Ireland close to a decade to perfect the way they play. If Eddie is planning for 2027 already then great, but if fans...

    Refereeing decisions

The saving grace was he got the ball, but there needs to be a rule change about contact with a kicker. Yes it's dangerous, but I understand why it was considered ok when he got the ball. Don't know how you change the rule as the game is so quick to avoid all contact with a player kicking.

    Rugby World Cup 2023

Interesting last 10 table, NZ now have not lost in there last 10 games. 9 wins and a draw. Georgia really do need to be given promotion/relegation match up in the 6N. Can't have a team with 90% win rate ranked 11th and not given the opportunity.

    Bledisloe 2 2023 @ Dunedin 12:35PM Sat 5 Aug

That depends on who you ask, has he played better in France then anywhere else? Yes, but that still does not make him the best lock. You also got to take into account that pretty much every game he plays in a side where the pack as a whole dominate. They also play 3 other lineout jumpers to...

    Wallabies 2023

He didn't play last season, when a runner gets held up constantly and gets to ground a few seconds later. The opposition is defensively set and the next phase has little to no impact. Your not moving the ball quickly, your not making large meters past the advantage line, and your giving the...

    Wallabies 2023

Even as a Rebel fan I don't understand this, Philip runs to high and does not do much for impact going forward. His D is good but I would have Hosea in the squad ahead of him. Thought he was unlucky to miss out and Philip was lucky to make it.

    Wallabies 2023

I think the critics of Jones is harsh, I know most posters on here are bleeding gold. But they are all forgetting the fact since post 2015RWC the Wallabies have a winning percentage of less then 40%, yes it's hard when you face the All Blacks 3 times a year and the Boks twice. It doesn't change...

He got the ball on the charge down, so just unfortunate circumstances for the Bok player.

    Melbourne Rebels 2024

It depends, he could stay in NZ for 2 months and return and it would be ok.

But off that list has to be Horan: The one thing Kurtley Beale does very very well is runs across the field sideways while in possession. Who on earth calls that as a good thing in professional rugby.

Morgs and Hollies and there belief shrinking Australian rugby footprint is needed. They can both F off 1) Morgs - one of the worst coaches who had no clue what he was doing, bad mouths the Rebels every chance he gets. 2) Hollies - Goes to the USA and is involved in rugby in a developing...

How life goes 2001 - My dad wouldn't buy me a ticket, was still in high school and think he just wanted the night on the piss. 2013 - Went to both Melbourne games and drank way to much 2025 - Kids will be 10 and 5, will do the Melbourne games hopefully but not making that call yet

He may not be better then McReight, but his a better pilfer and line out option. So might be a better balance for the backrower. When you carry Skelton you need two backrowers who are good line out options. Ireland, France are playing with 4 options most of the time now.
