Balleymore capped out at 20-22k people. In any event, I thought the Dolphins were meant to play out of Redcliffe not Lang Park?

34k people turned up to watch the Crushers play the Broncos back in 96.

SRP (Super Rugby Pacific) 2023 General Chat

Why didn't they just push the magic round back a week and have it over the long weekend in Melbourne? In any event, it's such a shit time of year for it for spectators. There's a massive difference sitting in the autumn sun in Queensland watching rugby than summer in Melbourne where it was...

Swain and Neville..... Just absolute piss taking having either of them over Frost.

I reckon this was Hunters best performance at being a second ball player. Seemed like he regularly would step in and receive the ball as first receiver allowing Tom to inject himself when required. I definitely thought the Hunter and Flook was a better balance than Henry and Hunter.

Sheeesh, with the front rowers club turning up, I'm surprised if there was any chicken left!

Any idea what's happened to Vest? Is he injured or just dropped for Anderson? Glad to see the JOC (James O'Connor)'s back and hopefully we'll see Lynagh utilise Vuniin the air.

Unless he's started packing, he'll probably be in Queensland for a bit longer. But, imagine trading a Queensland Winter for a Victorian one. Depressing stuff that. Normally the southerners can't wait to escape north.

Might want to stay clear of Quade's IG then as he does yard work/mowing.

Is Wallaby representation really the key metric were using for whether a coach has had an impact on player development? In a year where the Wallabies win record plummeted and the Reds in the wider squad was in the minority, I don't think it's the best indicator. Further, if you look at the...

Uni, work, beers, girlfriends/boyfriends, tv, Gym, life and travel. Countless reasons on what people are doing. Getting to training every Tuesday + Thursday at 6pm is a lot more difficult than walking down to the oval after school. Hell, I can attest that, as a young bloke, you get thrown all...

Got mine aswell! Absolutely love it, even the buttons have that original rubbery feel to them. So we just need it to cool down now to bust'em out.

That can be the timeframe of recovery, but based on the orthpods I know who do it, they've had big units back up in 5-7 depending on how recovery goes.

Humor this idiot, but those saying recruitment is an issue, which player/s were on the market in the last two seasons that could have come into the Reds and put us in a better position? The biggest challenges from recruitment we've had in my eyes is losing BPA and Carter Gordon. Gordon's...

6 months post injury is around May this year for Taniela and the Reds on paper play till early June. But, like all Rebels players, they get sent interstate to play club rugby so Taniela may as well keep playing QPR post super rugby for extra fitness and conditioning.

Is Hernan or Thorn responsible for our ruck defence/lack thereof? Tell you what, I'm a bit over hearing the players even say it's a problem of discipline. Similar to Rennie reign, everyone seems to know it's a problem, but nothing is ever done to fix it.

He's there because the Jocks are injured leaving us two ball playing backs; Lynagh and Creighton. He could have done better in the tackles, but, truth of the matter is, those line breaks should never have been allowed in the first place.

    Super Rugby 2023 Rd 1 - Reds v Hurricanes

Well, the Reds had 5 out of the 9 tight five forwards out; Hooper, Nasser, Tupou, Jones and Blyth. Not that having those would have meant wed win, but, it'd also mean our third and fourth stringers weren't thrown against Lomax!

I mean, two of those four are Queenslanders which were developed at other clubs.
