    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

They can all do it with no pressure, but to get up with burning lungs, half dazed & battered for the last ruck, then in 30 seconds, clear your head and get you heart rate down and under control .................... it isn't easy

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

Is this the first time aus has rolled out no specialist fetcher even on the bench?

    Bledisloe 1: 29 July @ MCG

With the comments of Perese practising catching bombs etc, the bench makes more sense

My eyes aren't good enough to see the ants running around the MCG from the good seats, let alone the shitty ones

    Wallabies 2023

I think the quarter back metaphor works well with quade, he is better when he has a "running back" to dump shit ball to, Digby was one his options for this at the Reds as well

Samu hasn't played well this year, he was very good last season He looks great playing his game, but that is playing the wide flanker role, I don't think that role is something Jones is budgeting for

    Wallabies 2023

Samu 2022 was bloody good, but he looked like he was phoning it in for the Ponies this year That said, with Hooper in rehab, I was surprised he isn't in the squad for his 7 cover

    Wallabies 2023

Oh, I agree the "fetcher" role is outdated and if the team isn't getting and planning for the dominant chop tackle with a follow up accurate clean out, any attempted clean out becomes a break even calculation between being "successful" and being penalised

I don't think Kerevi is a good 13, but he is great at 12 Is Perese even healthy? I think it is more likely that Hodge will slot in at 13 and Walton may get called up to the big boy squad

    Wallabies v Argentina @ CommBank Stadium 7.45pm Sat 15/07

It was interesting to see how vocal he had become at the Tahs, talking to his teammates, calling for the ball, looking for the ball trying to make things happen and he said in the interview after the game that Jones had tasked him with working on his involvements But the flip of that is the...
