As i have indicated here several times I am hearing from work colleagues who are acorss some fo these clubs that the pre season numbers are terrfiying for many acorss all Div's.

Anyone have a lense on how Forest are tracking at the moment?

Hearing numbers are an issue at many clubs across the Div's. I'd suggest that is not the norm. Hearing some Div 1 clubs are at decon 5 with how numbers are looking and it doesnt get much better down the Div's.

Newport pumped them 38-0 at the Rats Sevens the weekend before Forest gave a better account of themselve sin the final but still went down to the Breakers.

Because its an old boys network and the "elite' clubs get preference, some times to their detriment. i.e Knox stayed 3 years too long due to "special consideration" and will most likely end up rebuilding in Div 4 for a few years.

Breakers announced their coaching roster yesterday and pre season hasnt started so I think everyone getting ahead of themselves on numbers. Yes some are backpacking and others playing league but lets wait and see.

I'd say there are probaly 10 clubs that fit that bill.

Hearing half of subbies are planning on months long european holidays this season after a 3 year Covid break. I'd say this will be more impactful on clubs with partciualry young player profiles. Im thinking Lindfield, BOBs, Newport, whats left of Knobs.

Northmead I was watching a different game as through my blue eye Newport dominated for 55 minutes, were held up 3 or 4 times over the line and should of won the game comfortably. I still cannot explain what Newport were thinking not taking 3 or 4 kickable penalities leading 5-0. Hills really...

Newport 3rds threw a premiership away by not taking points in front however thank god for first grade. The try just before halftime was first class. UNSW had two opportunities to level it but dropped cold two certain tries.
