Blindside’s list of most successful rugby union families in QLD GPS

The Clifford/Alexander Clan (First Cousins/Brothers)
Connor Clifford (GT2025) - GT 1st XV 2024, 2025 (VC)
Noah Clifford (GT2023) - GT 1st XV 2022, 2023 (VC)
Ben Clifford (GT2018) - GT 1st XV 2018 (VC)
Lucas Clifford (BBC2024) - BBC 1st XV 2024 - NSW Country XV
Jamie Alexander (BBC2023) - BBC 1st XV 2021, 2022, 2023 (VC)
Christian Alexander (BBC2025) - BBC 1st XV 2024, 2025
A full family of leaders.

Howarth Family (Brothers)
Frank Howarth (BBC2024) - BBC 1st XV 2023, 2024
Jack ‘The King’ Howarth (BBC2021) - BBC 1st XV 2019, 2020, 2021
Two dominant backs. Jack Howarth in my eyes is the third best back to come out of the GPS competition closely behind Jason Little (TGS1988), and Kayln Ponga (ACGS2013) (Before leaving to Iggy Park in townsville).

That’s all I could get off the top of my head please mention some clans/families I forgot…

Choosing the flyhalf - the playmaker, decision maker and field general of the team - from a struggling Churchie side that struggled against an underwhelming terrace team...

Archie Mesritz is miles ahead of Fletcher, whether you like it or not.
How did he perform against TSS? For some the pressure of Kingsley Ace staring you down the middle of the pitch is far too great.

Best Schoolboy Highlights in my opinion.

Drop your favourites, I'm on Smoko.
Couldn't agree with you more RJ,

It doesn't get much better than that - Pace, Heart, Strong tackle, Driving the legs. I would agree that Mcreight is one of the most underrated productions of the GPS - starting for Australia countless times. Not many other GPS products have achieved such a feat. Blokes ramble on about leaguies but we are ignoring one of the best talents in GPS history.
And how about that pilfering technique, over every ball - no one could stop him. Blokes these days need to take a page out of his book and stop with the laziness.
Cheers,
T.B

Can't go past Eamon Mahoney's 2023 season. I wonder what he is up to nowadays. Matthew Ribot for the 2s in 2023 is also a shout for the greatest player to never play 1s.
I would also recommend watching 2nds 2024 player of the season Dom Webbers mixed highlight reel, consisting of both debating and footy. Truly moving stuff.

Nate barnett demoted back to the wing once again, how upsetting.
Nate Barnett back on the wing? Tragic stuff. To be honest though it might be the wrong move if you're trying to keep him quiet. The bloke's louder than a BBC mum at the head of river. Putting him on the edge just gives him more room to chirp.

Fun fact: he actually left the Wallaby nursery (Nudgee) in Year 9 to "pursue academic and rugby excellence" at BBC, which we all knew was code for, getting dropped to the 15B's and fleeing before he had to run water for the 15A's. Sources say he’s still trying to chase that Year 8 highlight reel.

Was he apart of the 2022 undefeated premiership 16As Nudgee side. Playing alongside T Willy and the other Nudgee go getters?
