1. Kingsley Uys - TSS
2. Tai Taka - BBC
3. Elijah Breen - BGS
4. Isaac Tuala - NC
5. Dyer Akauola - BGS

All five have already shown they can dominate games individually, and most have either already made rep teams or are on the radar. Uys is a powerhouse up front, Tai Taka’s footwork and decision making at such a young age are next level, and Breen is steering the BGS ship with calm composure. Tuala’s been a rock for Nudgee, tough in contact, calm under pressure, and leads from the front. while Akauola looks like a real game changer he’s physical, quick, and reads the game smartly.


Would love to hear if anyone’s got eyes on any dark horses or breakout players from the likes of Terrace, TGS, or Churchie. Keen to see how the rest of the season plays out!

Score predictions for the upcoming BBC vs NC blockbuster: Easily the headline act in this weekend’s three way.

The big dogs are circling and if history’s anything to go by Nudgee’s bringing the muscle, the mindset and the full blue and white machine. BBC will throw punches sure, but they’ll be gasping for air by the second half when the NC engine kicks in. As for BGS? Yeah… not exactly losing sleep there. They’ll probably let in more points than a broken tap. Expect some brave defence early, followed by a slow, inevitable leak, kind of like a soggy paper cup in a thunderstorm.

Isaac Fonua for me. The Kings 8 has been destructive and a force since year 10. He is a great rower I also hear. He has accomplished so much in such a short time

With State of Origin tomorrow night, which former/current origin players from the GPS were the best at schoolboy level?

I immediately think Kalyn Ponga (ACGS, 2016) is the best, but I'm looking forward to seeing Rob Toia (NC, 2022) make his debut.

Which other origin players have formerly partaken in the GPS First XV?

Another one that just came to mind is Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (BGS, 2017). He scored 10 tries in one season for Grammar, which is an outstanding feat.

Greetings gentlemen, as I have a quick coffee break, does anyone have any predictions for this weekend's fixtures? Sadly, couldn't make the trek to Brisbane to watch any games but looking through the results it looked like a great day of rugby. Some great games lined up with Ipswich vs TSS, BSHS vs Churchie, a 3 way between Nudgee, BBC and Brisbane Grammar and GT vs TGS.

Do we know how long each 3 way match will go for, and if they will keep the same teams for both? If they change, I assume they will play their seconds squad against Grammar.
