Soccer get the run of the grounds in Term 2 as far as matches go at NC. Come Term 3, Rugby takes over and soccer nets etc removed and goalposts up on all the fields including those down on that area referred to as the "Flats". It's simply a case of setting up the fields based on the GPS sport that is "officially" on that term.
Ah ok thanks for that information, however still a worrying trend for all GPS, unfortunately I’m old school. Is Nudgee hosting BBC this Saturday if so does anyone know time & what field ?

3-Way this weekend at Nudgee.

As per banter above, the 1st’s / A’s soccer must be up on Ross Oval and these trials will be down on “Flat 5” according to below

On another note, I see scores finally on RE for last weekends 3-way. Assuming BSHS had a heap of players tied up with the Met East league???

I CAN REALLY GET AROUND THE BGS BOYS TAKING HOME A CHOCALATE BAR. Anyone know if all three teams were playing full strength.
Both Ipswich and State High were under strength with most of their boys filling Met East and Met West teams. Don’t know if any BGS boys made the teams though?

BGS had plenty out as well, 4 boys out for Met North League and 3 out for Met North Union so under strengthed as well. Plenty of the Grammar 1xv regulars were also rested to give way for some 2xv boys to have a crack.

I saw there were 12 State High boys between the 2 QLD schools teams named....would be interesting to see how many of the 2 squads of 23 would still be there if all schoolboys were available to trial. That pathway has become less relevant with the Reds pathway now more accepted by most GPS schools

TGS vs Terrace this weekend, both teams full strength. Should be a very good clash, i’m backing TGS to put a clinic on terrace and I think this weekend is going to reveal how competitive TGS rlly are.
Agree, we sure going to find out if TGS are contenders this year! With Keegan and Rapeni back to bolster the pack they should have more grunt up front. Interested to see if any other changes will be made to the starting line up? Word around the traps there might be a few out after a very physical game against BBC.

Anyone know who started at 9 & 10 for TGS in last weekend’s trial?

Thank you for some calm logical explanation to the forums clickbaits

His throwing seemed to be decent, abit of confusion with the Terrace jumpers however. A few questionable calls from the ref for both teams lineouts on the weekend.
Terrace lineouts improved at the end with the reserves on - Jackson throwing to Grice. With Clancy available this weekend, it may be that the incumbent lock Devine along with the new signing Hawke may end up back in the seconds as they won’t tolerate another year of losing so many attacking lineouts.
