Those were the days. Still loving the standard of footy nowadays, games headed in a great place! Scrum on!Well said, remeber like it was yesterday playing schoolboy footy in ankle deep water, good luck to all teams tommorow, ill be at the cranbrook game, should be a cracker
Agreed, the game has changed drastically in pace and structure, very different brand than what we used to playThose were the days. Still loving the standard of footy nowadays, games headed in a great place!
Mish Mish Mish it was clear that the boys were clearly just rusty from the beginning of the season, I am assured that they will win CAS.Nice pump up for the fellas but this aged like milk. 36/7 Views way in the 3rd XV fixture.
Theyre always strong, i know that there outside centre Jarred king played for Under 16s australia and has been a developing talent at randwick, casuing some problems for oppsoing GPS backlines in recent years. Should be a good contest with him and Cranbrooks new Harold matts outside centre.Old Cranbrook boy here, can anyone shed some light on the Newington opens this year and how they are shaping up?
See you there. Pie, Pint, Footy. The Trifector. Always backing the Red, White and Blue but admittedly, we're looking a bit grim on numbers this weekend. Scrum on!Ill be backing the boys in Red, White and Blue!
I think that's a sound prediction, really could go either way. I got my eyes on Waverley vs Scots, I'm taking Scots by 12. Scrum on!Joeys vs Knox should be a good game both schools looking strong this year, I imagine it will be a close game. I'll back Knox by 5
Any predictions for any other games
Mate Horrible Take. That knox game will be very good, a good test for knox and an indication mabye into how far they can bring this season. I'll back Joeys by 3. Waverley V Scots should be a good game, Scots need a bounce back from last week alhtough reports of a strong waverley team should allow a good game. But, I reckon the best game this week will be Barker V Shore, the CAS teams so far have beaten shore pretty convincingly although we saw a partial bounce back last week against Knox. A barker team yet to mold as seen in japan agasint a shore team deseprate to prove themselves and bounce back from a poor start, defending there GPS title. I'll back barker by 10.
Interesting take there BOB TALAU but I think you'll find the greatest game to watch will be barker 3rds VS Aloys 3rds. predicted score 84 - 0 barkers wayMate Horrible Take.
Shore have no strike outwide losing 50-0 to the Blue and Gold.
Best game easily will be Scots Vs Waverley at the regarded 'Death Valley'.
Cheers Boys

Absolutely agree, mate. The Barker 3rds team is stacked this year—it's basically the entire 2022 16As team, along with a few lads who used to be in the 1sts and 2nds who’ve chosen to prioritise the HSC over rugby; such as Hugh M and Owynn E. Should be a cracking game.Interesting take there BOB TALAU but I think you'll find the greatest game to watch will be barker 3rds VS Aloys 3rds. predicted score 84 - 0 barkers way

Zero wins from 56 games for 1sts and 2nds for the two years before.I believe the High First XI beat Newington and Joeys last year. Still, 2 wins out of 14 is hardly impressive.
NGRugby post is correct. Against the Fiji side, who looked really good, Barker fielded most of their 2nds players to give them a good run. Apparently the 1sts squad is injury free save for some bumps and bruises. Question will be the jet lag coming back having landed on Wednesday and only having 36hrs to prepare for the match against Shore.Barker finish off their Sanix with a 43-7 loss to the Fijian school, who in all fairness have looked like a proper side all competition, with a few unlucky losses stopping them from properly progressing. I believe Barker only played a few of the boys who will be playing this weekend in the opening round of CAS, so looked a much weaker side. This result means Barker come 8th out of 16, I know heading into the tournament I personally saw them around the 5th-6th mark so this isn't too surprising. I'm sure some good lessons heading into their CAS season.
And a reminder that the Barker v Shore game is Fri night at Allianz Stadium before Tahs v Reds.and only having 36hrs to prepare for the match against Shore.
Jet Lag? There isn’t much of a time difference. They will be good to go.NGRugby post is correct.
