The pendulum is definitely swinging back toward "training tool that keeps the players fit" rather than "legitimate rugby spectacle" at least at the club level. The will to invest and pay to send players to tournaments is lower than it was two years ago. Part of me wonders if sevens evolving to...

Is every club in the comp fielding sevens squads for the off-season?

I'm actually pretty happy to see a newer club reach the top of the mountain. Heeno is a great coach and more importantly a great bloke. You and the Bond community should be proud of your achievement. Some of the conclusions you drew from a boilerplate presentation night speech are a bit of a...

He's been the Reds women's coach for over a year and many were under the impression he would be continuing with that role as his sole focus.

DOR heading out was expected. Qualified on paper but was never able to "get it". Culture change requires buy-in, buy-in requires getting to know your playing group in person and keeping off-putting interactions to a minimum. GM is a good bloke and came as more of a surprise.

If Phil Mooney wants another crack at a Director of Rugby job, there's about to be an opening just down the road from his old employer.

Bond will be happy to lean on the experience of a proud All-Black Wallaby like Aidan Ross

yet to see a medic spray down the ball with water before a restart so that's an improvement

Technically nothing beyond an online course and a first aid/bls cert. Your bread and butter as a medic would be strapping and MSK injuries. Things that physios are quite good at, especially ones that have been involved with high performance sport. Anything more acute goes to the ED...

Wallabies v Lions - 3rd Test, Accor Stadium, Saturday 2 August

Few things are more miserable than London in the summer because half the infrastructure isn't built to handle the heat with proper AC.

Katoa is the one player I would throw Sua'ali'i levels of money at. Young, experience in both league and union in the halves, good temperament, and unbelievable levels of potential. Only issue is that he'd probably be more keen to play for the all blacks if he switched to Union, as he declared for...

Honest question, would Sean Graham be interested? Nudgee Director of Rugby is one of the better rugby gigs in Australia short of working for a Super Rugby franchise or the Wallabies.

Not replying to anyone here specifically, but inadvertently chasing out one of our limited number of experienced referees is not the way to go about fixing the issue. Expand the talent pool so he works fewer Brother's games if they're randomly allocated or has more competition if they're given...

I was under the impression people were concerned more with Prems than the club as a whole at GPS. I think it was either Phil or someone else who mentioned that from 2s to 5s they've been going well and have good culture this year.
