Could be well enough to technically play, but not well enough to feel like he can execute confidently at a level that will impress. No one else has really grabbed the flyhalf role by the neck so he might feel he has time on his side.

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/rugby-union/wallabies-playmaker-in-major-doubt-for-lions-series-with-neck-injury-20250708-p5mdgm.html Sydney Morning Herald says Lolesio flew up to Brisbane to see a specialist on Monday and had spinal fusion surgery on Tuesday. Scary stuff, wish him all the best...

It was interesting seeing Jock taking restart kicks and kicking for touch over HMP. Hopefully the offseason gives him room to develop a bigger boot.

Making a strawman out of my post because a forum troll has you rattled doesn't say great things about you either. The Reds frequently struggled to exit properly which is attributable to not getting front foot ball. Wanting another physical presence that can generate front foot ball is not the...

Brial's greatest attribute is that he runs angry and gets over the advantage line. Uru and Wilson are much more useful for the way the Reds play under Les Kiss, but we were begging for another Brial-type player against the Lions.

I don't think it was the system's intent for half the Lions' starting backs to be born and raised in the Southern Hemisphere but we do what we can under the rules we're given.

Hopefully better drainage at Crosby Park? It's like playing on a beach with all the sand on it come finals every year.

Might be talking out of turn since I don't know the scope of responsibility covered by BJRU employees, but 260k doesn't sound like an exorbitant budget for 5+ full time or more part time workers knowing what QLD government administrative officers get paid. Rugby continually expects the...

He's unreliable in defense and constantly drifts inside and then gets caught out when the pill gets spread wide. Wouldn't trust him to improve while also getting his head around rucks. Never mind that he's on far better money than the Reds or RA would/could give him.

    Concussions and Protecting Our Players

The funny thing is that the NFL prohibits teams from running Oklahoma Drills now in the interest of player safety. Still technically permitted at the college and high school levels but even a decade ago the overall trend was toward minimizing high speed opposed contact outside of games.
