From an outsider perspective, it's hard to support points caps and competitiveness measures when they insulate poorly run clubs from the consequences of their own actions. Alienating the one demographic still keen on participating in contact sport when there's not only rival shute shield clubs...

Bond and Brothers make finals. Rest of the comp is a fight in a phone booth given the close finishes last year and some minor regression at Easts and Wests + improvement from the rest. Too early to say more.
