Saw him play at Scots - looked more like a loosehead prop / hooker to me. Could help his career as we always need big slabs of beef in the production line.

He is nowhere near big enough at the moment for either of those positions

He looked too big in his last year of Schools Rugby. Gym big over it him seeming fit.

Jacques seems like a Fullback to me. Maybe as he fills out a 13 but a 15 with his athleticism.

He is pretty adaptable. Could play 13 or 15 easily, even wing. He's a jet. Seen him play both 13 and 15 at schools and he was a standout in both.

He was definitely "bulky" in years 10 and 11 as he developed a head of the others. when he played for tahs u16s he looked a monster (well he was, he was plus 100kgs). Others have caught up now and he is definitely not bulky enough to be considered a top flight forward.

Bought tickets yesterday for the Reds vs Brums at Ballymore. The ARU, QRU and Ticketek websites all have different starting times. Kick-off is somewhere between 1 and 3pm lol

It is Super Oz with Under 19s on undercard (Curtin raiser) and Under 16's separate a fortnight later with 5 teams (Vic included)

Looks like Tahs might have signed Folau Fainga'a for 2026 after an early release from his french club, helps the front for given they’ll be missing Tupou, Bell and Porecki next year

That's a big get if they've pulled it off.

It'll be interesting to see when he finishes up with Clermont, he was in the 16 jersey just last weekend and they don't look to have a lot of hooker options in their squad, unless they've got someone arriving in-season.

Surely DMs previous links with guys like this at the Brums helps a lot in the recruitment.

Probably a stronger group of Hookers now than last year. Didnt see that happening after the Porecki announcement with Mahe already out.

Moananu, Fainga'a & Dobbins feels a solid group. Lets them slowly brings through a young one.
