Well you can’t not pick Toole on the basis of him being too small for test rugby after how well Tate has done in his stints there

To be fair if he started in that position different story, both teams just failed to target his vertical challenge when he was filling in there

A decent team.
Cool to see Toole finally given a crack. Bobby V gives us more physicality from the get-go. Hopefully, for longer than 40mins because will miss some strong carry with no Gleeson. NDC does offer better coverage for the lineout and starch in defense but he won't get us over the gain line. But you do get that with Bell and Nonngorr.

Been really impressed with Tom Hooper at six. Although I am aware Giteau's Law is gone which means he can still play with the Wallabies, it is a shame he is heading overseas. Would of liked to see him stick around in Super Rugby for a while longer even if it was with the Brumbies. Yes, Bobby V is back and I never thought I would ever say this about Bobby V but boy he has got some huge shoes to fill in Wilson. For me Wilson has been a standout in the team and none better than his effort over the weekend, nailing two tries. Would have liked to see Gleeson on the bench.

So the packs from 50 to 60 minutes:

Bell, Amosa, Nongorr
Frost, Williams
Mcreight, ChampiondC, Hooper

vs

Venter vd Merwe Louw
Etsebeth De Jager
Mostert/JlDp, Kwagga, v Staden (Multiple permutations here could even by Nortje moving to blindside and JdLp plays 80. Depends who is most gassed)
