The Ghost of Raelene
Rod McCall (65)
Haha 99% of the time they work a treat on here but not this time.
Absolutely stoked to see how he goes. Don't see him as fitting the physical profile of a blocking tight end, maybe more of a receiving tight end like Jimmy Graham/Travis Kelce or an old school H-back that can run routes, take snaps from the backfield, and be lead blocker for the running back when they're running power concepts. You’d be jealous of these guys if you’re and UFA at camp. Have a NFL backed contract to land on a practice squad somewhere.
Done the right thing not trying to be a WR (World Rugby) (World Rugby). He doesn’t have the speed.
There are limitations though, both in terms of cap and foreign players. I'm not sure how successfully the merged entity will be able to control who they keep, so if a team wanted to make an offer they'd probably be able to get any non-American player they wanted (assuming the player was interested). They’re also the guys likely to be kept on a merged roster and fringe blokes like Luke Burton made available.
Holloway and Wilkin would be good additions though. If I’m the Tahs I’d love Holloway back with Leota gone.
Lealifano could get a gig in an Aus side as well on skill when you look around at some of the guys with jobs.
MLR is just as likely to not exist in 3-4 years. It’s such a flighty pop gun comp. There are limitations though, both in terms of cap and foreign players. Could be more likely to remain and take a team in the UK for a cheque. Stay in the NH.Holloway's wife is American I think? I seem to recall he went over there to setup base so she could be near family and get her career going etc. Would be interesting to see if those plans change now

I think the youth of today would say that post is dripping with copium and potentially even dabbling in delulu. So Petaia debuts in NFL today, and LRZ announces his return to rugby from NFL today also.

for welsh rugby fans maybe, but for the individual, you only get to live once so why not give these things a go..Let’s be honest. Cool experience I’m sure but what a waste of time.
Probably a likely timeline for Jordan. Highly likely that he'll return before home world cup.Let’s be honest. Cool experience I’m sure but what a waste of time.
Would he have made more money than if he stayed in rugby?for welsh rugby fans maybe, but for the individual, you only get to live once so why not give these things a go..
It's not like he missed much in Wales in the past 18months except maybe a potential B&I Lions selection.
Given he never made it into an actual squad beyond pre-season/practice squads, i think he would have made more remaining in rugby.Would he have made more money than if he stayed in rugby?
It says 840k a season.Given he never made it into an actual squad beyond pre-season/practice squads, i think he would have made more remaining in rugby.
Obviously, the potential earnings in NFL were significantly more if he was picked up actually.
It will be the second thing anyone ever mentions about him. "LRZ, pro rugby player who tried out for the NFL"Let’s be honest. Cool experience I’m sure but what a waste of time.

As a relatively positive thing, those kinds of opportunities don't come along every day
Don't disagree that it's a cool opportunity but I think you're overestimating how much it'll be part of his legacy - same with Petaia if he doesn't make it.
Can't tell you last time anyone mentioned that Valentine Holmes had a crack at the NFL. A few younger fans don't even believe it.
