NSW AAGPS 2025 (banter and commentary)

It's a weird one today for the players.

Perfectly summarised. Heard some outlandish claims coming out of camp Hunters Hill

"Joeys 1s boys given the day off today, and 2s only attend till end of period 2" - the sources.

Can anyone confirm or deny this claim? Ardent to discern if this proposed preparation strategy is veracious

Faithfully,

Totally agree mate. The boys will need to deal with the pressure of playing 1sts footy and need to learn to get their books out of their lockers quickly before they are swarmed. Going to be a tough day but I reckon the boys will show some ticker about them. Let's just hope they are focused on the teacher and not the field.

Same game multi's are looking good mate. Wouldn't mind chucking a 50 on Callum Grandtham to get 10+ points. Will be good to see how his boot performs the following week.

Anyone have a list of 3rd XV results from Saturday? What happened to the guy that used to give match reports for each game.
TAS fella. Sadly he died a coupla months ago.

UPDATE: I was thinking of Paddy Flower, a true TAS stalwart who sadly left us recently. The bloke who follows the Thirds is another TAS OB, Jim Belshaw, and I understand he's alive and well. My apologies.

My question is...
Will newington be able to hold onto this strong start? Or will they crumble like last year? they seem to be good enough to have a strong go for the comp but they're also known as being pretenders... I've watched a couple replays, and can i just say, it must be so refreshing knowing that they are going to get the extra two points for pretty much every try they score thanks to the #15. Must be nice.
Let me know your thoughts.
P.S. i'm not having a go at newington, simply just saying are they a strong enough side to hold onto this great start to the season.
thanks

I believe only time will tell. They have already shown that they are here to make a statement this year, beating joeys @ heavens pasture, and having convincing wins over Riverview and Shore. Todays match for me against kings will be the deciding moment of their season.

I have to give credit to the Shore boys, they’re always energetic and vocal, no matter how their team is performing. That was especially clear on the weekend, as I heard the blue and white crowd chanting well into the second half, even while trailing by over 40 points. Fortunately for them, I think they’ve got a real shot this afternoon. With a strong crowd behind them, I’m tipping them to get the win. Shore by 3.

In the past I have had a warm welcome reception from Shore and View.
