Alright lads, time to wrap up holding onto the past, what matters is the future, can we get final predictions from the veterans of the forums on upcoming games this week.
Good Comms @Mario and Hules.

Although I am not the legendary moderator status, such as the likes of Joker and Braveheart81, I would consider myself a forum merchant.

Therefore, my final predictions are as such: Cranbrook by 3, Wave up cricket scores, Barker by 12.

Cheers boys,

Cheers boys,
Dear Scrumbeldore,
Your predictions are bold with Cranbrook by 3, Waverley to rack up cricket scores, and Barker by 12 win over Trinity, is a good take and likely, I believe Knox will be trying the apple chaple method to bring their hopes up for the game when versing this hungry Cranbrook side. But with the Barker game the only the only thing that's going to win them there game is the ear-aching chants coming from the stands, Trinity boys stay safe.

Also on the CAS website is the standings for Term 3 selection after Rd. 1.
Shame they aren't actually publishing results for the junior grades as they seem to be collecting them.

CAS Standing after week 1

Cranbrook School 15
Waverley College 15
Barker College 12
Knox Grammar School 6
St Aloysius’ College 3
Trinity Grammar School 3

So it seems that it's an equal 3 points for a win (and maybe 1 for a draw) in each of 1sts, 2nds and the 13-16 A Grades, totalling a max of 18 points per round.

Greetings,

Good to see the CAS forum light up after an electric round of CAS.

A few pearls of wisdom from Scrumbledore.
- Don't go to an Aloys game.
- Barker beat Knox 33-7. Seems like Knox should reenact the Apple Chapel tradition before games.
- Trinity most definitely the dark horse this year. Despite the Waverley excuses about the lights, Trinity won at the end of the day.
- Cranbrook Knox game this weekend, get around it.

SDore out.

I totally agree to all your points except for the first point. Everyone should go to Aloys games especially the upcoming game against Waverley. Although Aloys lost to Cranbrook by a massive margin mainly because of questionable refereeing, given the fact that Waverley lost to Trinity last weekend I believe that Aloys will win against Waverley please correct me if you disagree.

Old representative of the mighty white and green here. Been some long minutes since I have indulged in the forums, seemed my old account got deactivated, bloody technology. Just looking for some insight into the predictions of how CAS will shape up this coming season, seems to be some upsets already with the good old green and white upsetting the beasts from the east.
Mate Aloys are a must watch team this year in comp. Although the rough result against Cranbrooks strong 1sts team, they should easily beat the likes of Waverley and Knox.

Absolutely nothing to do the refereeing. Could of easily been an 80 point win for the boys from Bellevue Hill if they had taken more of the plethora of opportunities they had.

Not a veteran of the forum but confidently a veteran of CAS rugby. Cranbrook will win by 12, home crowd and lots of momentum against a beaten down Knox. Waverly should beat Aloys with conviction. Barker will beat trinity by 15+

Predictions for this weekend:

Knox +10

The boys from Wahroonga will be keen to bounce back after being put on their heads by Barker last week. Cranbrook have shown glimpses of promise, but unable to string together a full 70-minute performance.

Trinity +3

It's the year of the dark-horse for the men in green, as they look to cause the upset they did so 2 years ago at this same venue. Do not count them out of winning the Henry Plume shield. This game is shaping up to be one of the most important fixtures of this CAS season. I'll be seeing you all up in Hornsby at 3:15pm on Saturday.

Waverley +70

Waverley with an easy bounce back after being humbled by Trinity.

Cheers,
Footy Shagas

From a non biased opinion I believe Cranbrook can take out the boys from Wahroonga as they displayed a better performance against shore beating them 36-12 compared to Knox's victory 38-26 against shore adding on with a home crowd Cranbrook have the higher odds of winning as they begin to build their momentum up for the biggest CAS rivalry next week against Waverley.
