Might be a sign Tualima's dengue fever will have him out long term.

Very good to see Valetini back on his feet again in the Super Rugby, hope he goes well this week. Hope Ikitau goes back out there and gives it to them this week to see another victory for the boys.

Such bad news about Charlie Cale, was going so well after that bad shoulder problem last year. Speaks to the Brumbies depth that despite that huge injury to the backrow stocks Rory Scott is on the bench.

Think after lolesio's performance on Saturday night that debcrezeni must be starting. He just controlled the game and almost turned it around for the brumbies. Was really sad to see the brumbies perform like this, hoping that they turn their season around.

When it's still TBA you know it's bad. Teams love getting it out there when it's good. I understand the Reds one not being out. Weather could have got a lot of people who did buy tickets just writing it off. Not truthful to publish your tickets sold number but also not fair to just put who walked through the gate when a lot more tickets may have been sold.

Sad state when the West Tigers v Warriors got 12k at Campbelltown on a miserable wet and windy Sunday night.

Also, I was happy when I saw Rugby ads during the NRL Vegas openers but now all I get while watching Rugby are Craig Bellamy Documentary ads on Stan which is a great ad for NRL. It does look pretty good tbh.

So they do anything at all with the game now and super rugby to promote it? NRL and raiders media everywhere
To be fair the Brumbies couldn't do much more promotion than they already do, players are constantly in the community and local media gives them reasonable coverage. I guess as someone that is very much in the tent/follows relevant social media channels maybe I see more promotion than the average person. There were no excuses last Friday though, warm night against a Kiwi opponent. I don't see them turning it around commercially unfortunately.

It's as if being constantly decent has hurt them. As silly as it sounds business as usual for the Franchise isn't good for public buzz.... The Raiders besides being part of the media machine are always on some bitter hard done by narrative so when they show some spark and win a couple people really get on board with the underdog. It resonates with the fan.

There's a thesis to be written on how they burned the goodwill towards the team that existed when the golden generation started to leave in the mid 2000s. In short I think they got a bit complacent (expecting that Canberra would always support them) and took their dominance over the Raiders as a given. People pretend a new stadium in the city would help but that's BS, the local public servants have voted with their feet and it would take a huge hiccup from the Raiders to turn the tide.

Part of me thinks Canberra doesnt deserve the Brumbies - such a consistently good side, year after year.
On the flip side part of me also thinks the tahs dont deserve Sydney! As much as I love them...
