Yeah, Tah's lack of rest/rotation is interesting/disappointing given the Brumbies/Reds & Force have all been doing it.. Especially for someone like Bell who already has a big workload/has a history of injuries and is critical to the Wallabies chances versus B&I Lions.

I'm expecting to see guys like Bell/Tupous rested against Moana and Drua at the very least.
I think Tupou needs game time, each week he seems to be putting in better shifts

How's Ropata travelling? Heard he would be close to a debut this year. Is he more a 13 or 12?
Havent seen the recent A games to tell but he trialled strongly to begin the year and he may get a chance coming up if rests are given but I'm sure Foketi is keen to get back in the 12. Tahs have depth in the Centres now so he may need to wait and play SS and push his case. Not sure which he suits better. He's an athlete type like Perese but not quite as explosive but has better skill over violence of play.

Really hope he doesn't go overseas. I imagine he's a prime target for some Clubs looking for a young cheaper option to guys with Test caps.

Feel like the Tahs really had to front load the season for wins if they want a shot at finals. Overall its been a success if that's the goal. Brums win would have probably been one not pencilled in as a W even though it ws a home game. This next very challenging period may be the time to give the rest. Blood others and hold on for the back end of the year.

Well he definitely put in a better shift against the donkeys than the Reds - DM surely put a bomb under him for that performance.

Hopefully he continues to lift with some minutes under the belt.

As I understand the Wallaby rest requirements, Bell and Tupou have to be rested next week at least. Seems like McKellar mostly went with resting the backline Wallabies this week, perhaps more rotation in the forwards next week.

Talataina has that mythical thing that seems so hard to learn - footwork going into contact. He's like a gazelle.

Tatalaina had one starting game when Gleeson was coming back from injury and he was excelent. Gleeson has been consistently very good this year, imo the best he has ever been. I would rate him, Bell and Jorgo as the three form players for the Tahs this year. I think Talataina is unlucky not to have the bench back row spot, he's a talent.

It is great to know that we have a ready made replacement for Gleeson at the end of the year. A few more games under his belt this season would have him primed. Makes good yards through footwork.

And many of them paid by RA to be fit for the Wallabies. I agree, I think they could handle it but I get it as well.

Not uncommon for sides to rest their own players throughout the year. Because its the Wallabies telling Franchises what to do we are getting shitty about it. Brumbies were doing it with the Front Row previously.

Lets be honest though if a guys like Bell, Ikitau go down I think any chance of a win v Lions takes an instant 25% hit. One round off that then equals a two week break for the body can do wonders when they can pump pre/rehab into them during the dog days of the season.

Fitness aside, Nela's biggest issue at the moment is just rushing every single thing he does with ball in hand. Yes, it creates opportunities, but god it creates some absolute slop as well.

Fuck sake. That should already be illegal.

If hes done an ACL because of a fucking hip drop tackle ill be fuming.

Having gone back and watched him again, Iose does a very similar tackle attempt in the phase before on Jorgo before doing it again and injuring him. Irrespective of the laws (which I admit I don't know) that is a bullshit tackle technique which has resulted in an injured player.
