Piper was one named as injured.

Kemp apparently to sign for the Raiders in NRL. Not sure that was the reason for her omission but assume so. A real loss. She has been immense this year.

I am guessing a team of:

1 Bree-Anna Cheatham
2 Ashley Marsters
3 Bridie O’Gorman
4 Sera Naiqama
5 Annabelle Codey
6 Shannon Parry
7 Leilani Nathan
8 Grace Hamilton
9 Layne Morgan
10 Carys Dallinger
11 Ivania Wong
12 Cecilia Smith
13 Georgina Friedrichs
14 Maya Stewart
15 Ashlea Bishop

16 Adiana Talakai
17 Madison Schuck
18 Eva Karpani
19 Michaela Leonard
20 Tabua Tuinakauvadra
21 Jasmin Huriwai
22 Trilleen Pomare
23 Desiree Miller

Yeah. But in my eyes you need 10 coverage so Pomare needs to be there. In fact you could play a 6/2 be bench too given Huriwai’s versatility.

Grace Kemp signed with the Canberra Raiders, thought it was odd she wasn’t included in the Wallaroos squad.

I'm looking forward to the game. Will be my first live Wallaroos test. Also taking the family (before we ditch the kids at my Dad's so they can have a sleepover and we can enjoy the Waratahs game).

10 years ago or even less Rugby was the dominant contact sport for women and we didn’t really try to maintain that position. Now the Islands and even the New Zealand are losing players.

Like a giant vampire squid - the mungos just can't keep away. I was worried without decent $, the mungos will treat women's supe as a development program.

Nine newbies in NZ's Pac4 & Laurie O'Reilly squad incl one who's come across from loig.

No Portia, Ruby Tui, Fluhler-Waaka etc so maybe Wallaroos are a chance to break their duck?

A pretty similar side to the one that played Fijian, minus Shannon Parry who has retired, and the return of the European based Wallaroos: Kaitlan Leaney, Arabella McKenzie and Emily Chancellor. Hopefully they get a decent crowd at Kayo Stadium, it’s a shame Ballymore lighting wasn’t ready in time to open that new facility.

Thursday 29th @ 6:30pm AEST on Stan Sport and 9Go.
