So wa misses out on one genia and gains another. Any info in the guy? He is only coming over to play club rugby but would super clubs look at him?
Was pretty good for Wests last week, behind a beaten pack. He directs traffic pretty well and often shifts outwider into a play making role. He is certainly nowhere near the level of Will, and probably never will be, but he is pretty handy. I often see him at the gym, strong bloke for his size. Should go alright, the Force could do worse for a possible EPS spot, I assume that's why he moved over.

OK club player but don't think he will make the next step. Leaner than his brother and doesn't have the pass or running game to be a huge threat to opposition teams. Has come a long way since school though.

He's been around the club scene for a few years now, I haven't seen him play but he has good genes! I hope he can make a fist of it over there, would be good for the Force if he can be half as good as his more famous bro.

Ahh the Reds are losing the little brothers... Firstly Matt Lucas joins the Tahs and now little Sanchez is moving to WA...

Matty Lucas continues the Lucas traditions of being a tough, takle mad "little" bloke. Absolute shame to see him go and ALL THE BEST TO THE KID - reckon his old man would have been admitted to hospital after Matt signed with the dreaded Tahs ha ha - whatever is best for the kid is OK I reckon

I couldn't think of a worse shame.... a Queenslander signing with the Tahs.....:p
But I guess if opportunity beckons and no one else is interested one can make a deal with the devil.

So just speculation at this point still...

I have been watching Matty (and Ben) from there early teens and I think Matty is somewhere in that "fantastic club player" and "pretty average super player" space. I hope he also dictates a bit which position he wants to play, unlike Ben.

Ben was an amazing schoolboy and club 10, but got dicked around with the conversion to 9 trial a bit, I think. His traditional passing game, i.e. not the crazy flicks, is as good as Cooper's and his kicking game is better. I think he'd be more established now if he stuck to his guns and said "I am a 10."

Apparently it is confirmed, just not released officially yet, probably because Matt is focusing on stuff with the u20's. Should be interesting if it is Lucas or Frisby who starts in that side, Matt has the experience but Nick is coming through and has shown some great glimpses.

From what I have heard Matt signed when the Tah's thought McKibbin was off to Scotland. Now he isn't going the Tah's will have three 9's in their 30 man squad.
