Wales under 12.

  • Stronger at the set piece,
  • Better around the park,
  • Majority of the Australian pack seems to be unfit, and
  • It's come to the point where Cooper Vuna is a Wallaby.

Wales by a try - more cohesive teams, better backline at the moment, stronger forward pack, better leadership.
England by less than 7 - Strong 6 Nations performance, new coach has made a massive difference, and its South Africa's first game of the year with a new coach. Would expect the Boks to win the next two though.
NZ by two tries - Even with limited preparation time, Ireland don't stack up to New Zealand anyway. SBW to score two by himself.

NZ by 14
AUS by 5
SA by 1

NZ will be too strong - although I'd love to see Ireland win. AUS by 5 is more what I hope will happen - Wales very strong & capable of winning. SA v ENG I can see as a real arm wrestle but I'm backing the Saffa's to get over.

 Now you upset me. Where is the mauser? No way we can lose to the Poms. Well beat them by 15+.

Not to worry boet, your lot will win the next two playing some spirited rugby. Feel the Poms will catch your lot a bit early.

I think the SANZAR nations actually have to be applauded for the scheduling this year, 3 very capable teams to play which should create enthralling series', especially AUS vs WAL and RSA vs ENG. It would've been great to see NZ play France in a 3 match rematch, but I'm more than happy with the prospect of NZ vs Ireland since the Irish always play with the amount of heart I wish the Wobs would.

It was the IRB who has mandated this. 3 match tours will be a recurring theme for the next 10 years apparently, with a years off during WC time.

And why is the Argentina v Italy game not included here? Just an oversight?

I dont know the NH players that well but it sure look like they send their strongest this year. Thats excellent, hate it when countries (SA included) still play their own finals and sending weaker teams on tour. Still dont understand why Ireland dont play dirt track sides to NZ. Thats usually the big matches for tours.

Paarl - I vividly recall you telling me in 2010 that an SA national coach would be immediately sacked if he lost to the Poms in SA (that was after IIRC the Poms beat Aus in Sydney 2010 and Deans as ever sailed happily on).

Still the case in 2012 with a new SA coach?

SA by 8.
NZ by 12.
AUS by 2, but I would bet on Wales 1-12 for the value. I think Australia, at Suncorp, coming off that loss, no matter how good Wales is, Australia (being a Southern team) will get up. Is this side as good as perhaps England '03 and France on a good day? Either way, am so excited for this game because I like Wales as a rugby team and it's supporters. They're the only team I'll back against the Wallabies, asides from the Blackness, and well, anyone against them at the start of the century.

No not with Meyer starting in his first outing as coach, maybe if he have lost a few going into a home Pomland test. I probably teasing you lot. Mind you he will get a lot of heat specially from this part of the world.

I have serious reservations with the Wallabies this weekend. I have little to no confidence. Even less than I did against the Scots (and I thought the Wallabies were ripe for the picking then as well). It is hard to be up beat with the crap selections and tactics.
