What grade did Ezra play this year?
He played 3rd Colt for Uni this year.
What grade did Ezra play this year?
And above. He played 3rd Colt for Uni this year.
I would imagine that opportunity at the new club, or dissatisfaction at the old club would be the driver behind the vast majority of any Colts moving on.....The acceptance of an offer (if tendered ) from my club by a player at another club , may have all sorts of implications about that player & his value to my club in the future.
I consider a players attitude towards such issues as loyalty towards his club ,fellow players ,coaches & other personnel , reasons for playing Rugby & what he feels
a player should be expected to contribute to his club as opposed to what he can get out of a club , of primary imprtance & in many ways as important as his athletic abilities.
Jim Stewart has already told Uni he was going to the Rats.
Brogan roods and Horowitz have joined Randwick and are not playing colts and are being looked at as 1st grade players.
Also ODonohue from Joeys is there with the 1'sBrogan roods and Horowitz have joined Randwick and are not playing colts and are being looked at as 1st grade players.
I think Ben Norcott from Vikings has been in both lads ears.No guarantee, especially if he needs to cut his teeth in Colts first. Whilst 1st grade in Canberra can be very strong, the colts competition is variable - player numbers are tough across majority of the clubs.
Neori Nadruku may have also been advised to seek out a Sydney move for colts.
I think Ben Norcott from Vikings has been in both lads ears.
Unfortunate if not unsurprising.
If they are to stay in Canberra, they should go to the clubs that they or their schools have been associated with. In this case both boys were in the Easts junior development squads.
For Neori however, I'd understand a move to Queanbeyan Whites, as most of his classmates presumably will end up there. Tom is a Grammar lad, and therefore Easts would be a natural fit - especially with all the other Brumbies players being allocated to them this coming season. Training with and being mentored by Etienne Oosthuizen would be a great development tool.
