Who cares about smugness. Once the wallabies win the world cup it'll all be locked in the past & Australia will once again be the toast of the world with the best country, people, sportsteams & absolutely everything.
Crazy isn't it. Aussies the world over tell the world how shit hot everything in Oz is & as soon as AB fans start thinking our team is good, we are considered smug, arrogant, cocky & the suddenly all Aussies hate us.

I don't think Henry ever said the Wallabies should respect the ABs.
I'd even suggest that the All Blacks actually had more respect for the Wallabies than vice versa at Eden Park

Based on the fact that they came prepared to play and they took the Wallabies very, very seriously. Even the intensity in the haka showed the level of respect the ABs have for the Wallabies. I think the Wallabies may have thought that the ABs mite not have taken them seriously enough due to the recent history (2 wins in 3 years) and the Eden Park hoodoo.
Personally, that's one of the biggest signs of respect an opponent can show me when I play. I LOVE knowing that other teams or other players are wanting to line me up or try and put a hit on me. It tells me that they know they better bring their 'A' game when we play.
That's just my take on that game anyway....could obviously be very wrong.

Aussies don't hate Kiwis MR. Love em and those cute lil chips on their shoulders. Hell, we don't even hate smarmy poms. Sport would be so boring without Kiwis and Poms. We'd have to start playing baseball.

Australians supporting the All Blacks? Can't speak for anyone else here but you could pick a XV comprising Anders Breivik, Martin Bryant, Bilal Skaf, Ivan Milat, the Columbine high school shooters, those blokes who keep girls locked up for 15 years, puppy farming welfare bludgers, the kids who shine laser pointers at aircraft, that butchering doctor from Nowra and John Winston Howard, and I'd be rooting for them over New Zealand.
