I think I might be the only one left who still holds hope that Brown and Hoiles could get better.

I hold out hope for Brown for next year, but he does need a break as otherwise his confidence would have been so shot he would never have been able to come back.

Move , Polota-Nau, Palu, Barnes, Giteau and Hynes down one and i agree.

I have done that and made some other changes suggested. I've also added to my wish list - does Robbie have Gasnier's phone number?

Would Gaz answer the phone? I wouldn't..

Gasnier would be a better addition than Turner right now. Not impressed with Turner and I think his ''story'' is a case in point of a young prospect not playing enough rugby at lower levels to harden himself mentally and physically.

Just a question - what adversity has this guy had? What lessons have been learned? It appears test rugby has been handed to him straight from schoolboys. I'm in no way knocking the kid, as I think he has talent and still recall watching him slice up NZ schoolboys at Viking Park here in Canberra in 05 (NZ won by the way...... :) ), but there is nothing exceptional about his play that says - ''yeah he's gotta be there no matter what''

Link and Kissy had a story on Ruggamatrix that was kinda the opposite. ARU talent hunter labelled Lakky as a loser but Link picked him. The rest is history, yadda, yadda.

I don't see the 'Lakky's crap' thing myself. Seems to be our best, if not only finisher with real pace.

With you, Gagger. See, that's why I'm not a Wallaby :lmao:. I always to get in a better position than you, so to receive a good pass and make the next move forward.

It would be better for both wingers to get the ball with some space to work with.

We seem to just want to run them into the sideline.

That would do me very well, too. How do you propose we restore to and maintain in one piece Vickerman and Mortlock?

Amen to having Vickerman. Big fan of that bloke. But is it just me or is Giteau just over rated. i have seen him play good once this year. Slightly disappointing for a bloke with such a lot of cash in his pocket.

It's a good side. My problem is with Vickerman. He's always crocked.

Personnel roster based on Biffo's groupings (currently RWC standard; potential to reach the standard next year; may get to standard with time; pray they'll get to standard one day)

Props: Robinson, Alexander, Kepu
Hookers: Moore, Polota-Nau
Locks: Horwill, Mumm, Kimlin, Chisholm (Vickerman = joker in the pack)
Openside flankers: Smith, Pocock
Blindside flankers: Elsom
No. 8s: Palu, Houston, Hoiles (joker: Brown)
Backrow utility: Higginbotham
Halfbacks: Genia, Lucas, To'omua, Burgess
Five-eighths: Cooper, Lealiifano, Beale
Hybrid 10/12s: Giteau, Barnes
Centres: Ashley-Cooper, Horne, Gasnier (jokers: Mortlock, Cross)
Wingers: Hynes, Turner, Ioane, Fainifo
Fullbacks: O'Connor
(Back 3 utilities: Mitchell, Ashley-Cooper)

Unplaced 'cos I don't know enough about them: Cowan, Fairbrother, Cummins, Hockings, Fitzpatrick

To'omua isn't a halfback. Put in Valentine.

As an aside, where the hell is Cam Sheperd?

Colour coding is a terrific idea; well done, Mate. If we could have some form of grouping in colours as we amend the list over the next two (why not 22?) years, we could very easily see where we are.

However, I along with about 12% of all males, have some colour vision impairment - commonly called by the very misleading term "colour blindness".

How about the Category 1 being a strong red, Category 2 a bright yellow, Category 3 a bright blue and Category a pink?

I think those colours are OK for almost all those with colour vision impairment.

Amazing to see how much experience is being ignored.

Despite the whines, guys like Sharpe, Baxter & Waugh have a lot to offer.

Sharpe, despite his propensity to fall over at times, does carry the ball well.

Baxter is still a good THP in an area where we have one listed

Waugh is a leader and has real mongrel

Agree with you fp. All three should be there, and talk of giving Mortlock the arse is STILL slightly premature (but not far off).
