Too right Gags. Anyone would think that we have exactly zero decent forwards in this country. We wouldn't have had anywhere near the success we've enjoyed over a long period of time without some semblance of decent forward play.

Has this turned into another self flagellating "we're so fucking crap in the forwards, we just lucked it into 2nd" thread? Getting stale

Watched extra time from round 6 on a plane last night and I'd wager up to 1/2 of the tries from all teams came from line drives. Not sure what the problem is?

Simple mode of play. It isn't the players themselves in the majority of cases. It is training and tactics employed. One out running is not forward play. Oz has some of the best players in the workd IMO but they do not generally hunt as a "pack".
