All this talk about Phil Waugh in the Wallabies should simply be talk. We need and require Pocock there, and I think Waugh will not in the slightest assist the Wallabies to the glory of the Rugby World Cup

there are threads for this type of talk. not this one

PS.. I reckon it will be hard for the Stormers to beat the Bulls unless the Bulls drop the intencity and or play a few 2nd stringers now they have top posie sewn up.

Tahs will not win this weekend. The performance against the Chiefs was flaky and dangerous mindset to take into a win-at-all-costs game. Especially without our best prop and our best hooker looking half-crocked.

And no Australian team in the finals. Yeah, great result, RR. You mates with Peter Slattery?

As long as QLD beats the Tahs at something, they're as happy as the day is long. Which is one hour less, for them, unfortunately.

Yes.

Australian Rugby needed some spark badly and it was the Reds who provided it.

yes we lost the the darbies. Which Australian team put away both the copetition front runners. The aftermath of the Bulls victory was the greatest PR boost for rugby this year and arguably for some years. Given the profile the Reds have given Rugby in th country this year, bloody oath they are the best Australian team.

I will respond to your post in 15 years, when our time zone catches up to where yours currently is.

Reds should have beaten the Tahs. That loss has now cost them a finals spot.

I must admit, all of a sudden the Reds forgot how to win. They were lucky against the Stormers then it went downhill. They should have belted the Canes. I reckon no one was more suprised than the Canes players. The Reds always play well against them. As for how the Canes play this week, who knows.

The Reds are struggling due to injury, Link will work on that and they will get better, Sitaleki Timani for one looked bloody good for Southern on the weekend

The loss to the Tahs was a learning curve for a young player group.

I hope the Wallabies have a great year and the profile of Rugby in QLD keeps momentum. Broncos had a good win on the weekend and State of Origan is just around the corner. I fear that the effect of the Reds achievments may be lost.

The extended season next year will be a huge boost for the Reds in the market.

Yep, he was in everything in the first half, consistantly making 10 metres with 3 blokes hanging off him. How's the stamina?

The Stormers points difference means another bonus point already bagged

1 Vodacom Bulls 119 47
2 Vodacom Stormers 166 39
3 Waratahs 81 38
4 Brumbies 85 37
5 Hurricanes 51 37
6 Crusaders 75 36
7 Reds 56 34

Meanwhile the Tin Ears have jumped on the log and lieing in 11th, hamegame against the Lions and their spot safe.

Doesn't really matter PB. If they don't win this weekend they are still likely to finish 4th.

Although in the Bulls perfect world they would beat the Stormers by less than 7, and the Saders would win vs the Brumbies with no bonus point so the Stormers would finish in 3rd. Saders would then have to go back to SA to play the Bulls again. Hard ask.

Fuck theyd be fired up though. My 2 cents... Crusaders are the best chance of beating the bulls in a semi.

Brumbies have a slight nose on points difference over the Tahs, if they beat the Saders with a bonus point and the Tahs win without BP, Brumbies will be ahead.

After crossing the Indian Ocean three times in 22 days? Not a hope in hell. The Saders will do well to beat the Brumbies this weekend, but if they do their recent travels will finally catch up with them.
