I just posted an interview of Richard Graham on my website. Feel free to read it. There is a part in english.

By the way what was happening with Ripia? Was he injured or out of pace. It is a bit risky to make him start against the Tahs

An excellent interview Sud with astute questions.

As Brix mentioned: Ripia was injured. I saw him play in a trial game when the Force was back east before the Super season started. He played quite well I thought but JOC (James O'Connor) has been magnificent and as a Tahs fan I am happier to see him at 15 rather than 10.

Go Clermont !!

JOC (James O'Connor) will be "Beale-like" for 15, back in defense to make your counter attack much more effective and bobbing around as a first receiver option on attack.

As a Tahs supporter I would prefer to see him stuck at 10 instead of bobbing up all over the place.

Mate I read your arguably, and I wasn't trying to give you a spray. The point was that there was no valid reason as to why JOC (James O'Connor) is at 15 and not 12 as you were perhaps alluding too. Certainly not Gene, anyway.

Of course there's a reason - to get the best 7 backs on the paddock providing the best balance for the team. And Graham has nailed that with what he has at his disposal this week.

I just got a feeling that the the Force will take this one. The Force I think will come out of the blocks hard aint I am not convinced the Tahs will have the leadership in Waugh's absense to counter it. The Tahs need to be patient and absorb this. Can they do that is the big question for mine.

As a Tahs fan for many years, I have learned that the moment you get confident they remind you of the pain of seasons past. considering the last couple of weeks my confidence is not high, so the Tahs should win. That being said, they may find a new way to hurt me yet. confused.

Waugh won the game for the Tahs in the dying stages last year. His absence will be a defining feature of this game.

There are so many factors to consider in this game. So here are some things that I hope to see.

1, The Force playing great rugby and to be ahead by 8 with 10 to go
2, The Tah's to score a try and kick 2 penalties off Force errors to lead going into the last minute of the game
3, The Force to work up the field and have a masive overlap, ball is passed out of the ruck to Repia who feeds it to Fairbanks who draws the last defender and gives it to Dunning who kicks a field goal to draw the game. Sharpe to kill Dunning and hand himself into the cops straight away so he doen't have to answer questions after the match about how it was one that got away, that the team will learn from this etc...

So beautifully put. When we lost to the Cheetahs, my mate turned to me and said, "I'm gutted, but I'm Tahs supporter so I'm not surprised."

Console yourself with the fact that you will be playing the one team in the comp that consistently punches beneath it's weight, due to the fact that it can't close out a close game while leading. At least teams like the Cheetas lose because they can't execute a winning game plan (mostly). The Force can and do execute a winning game plan, but unfortunately only for 20 minutes a half.

Looking forward to this either way. Got the Blue Jersey out and will be leaving in a couple of hours to make the trek up.

if the force had pocock or hodgeson thy woul have had a real chance but without them... i feel the tahs will win a boring affair with the odd flash of individual brilliance from beale/ michel/ oconner-
