Lions clearly struggling with O'Keefe's read on the breakdown. Not at all surprising to see them caught out by the kiwi view of things, and it might bode well for some of the other tour games. Unfortunately (feels very wrong to say this) it's only one of the tests with a kiwi in charge.

I guess that they are going a bit easy. This is an opposed training run. A dominant scrum would not prove anything at this stage.

Maybe at a selection level, but the guys out there aren't backing off or half-arseing it - individually they'll want to press their case for the tests, and the team itself will (or should) be worried about the picture they're painting, particularly in front of the ref for the first test.

Donaldson has made some very poor decisions with kicking the ball away when the backline has been making progress. He has also been caught out of position by the Lions' kicking game in general play on two or three occasions. Not having a happy game.

Stewart has been responsible for too many breakdowns in the Force attack and has been very poor in defence in two of the tries.

Pietsch is starring while Grealy has been very solid.
