Western Force 2024

TSR

Tizzano and Pasitoa off the top of my head. They look to have quite a few in their under 20s/under 19s pretty close to making the step up and the changes to the club system alongside the post season fixtures should start to pay dividends over the next few years.
How many of those guys are front rowers. And when you say ‘pretty close’ does that mean this week?

2 games in and you would have to ask is Simon Cron the best salesman in rugby? How the Force have resigned him for 2 additional years is baffling… scrum is a mess & this is his area of expertise!
The force appear to have no genuine identify. Tough year ahead unfortunately.

We had to get a 1st cap prop in from Tasman genius! Injuries have decimated our forwards! Scrum parity was never on the cards tonight.

However. I believe Cron is holding player interviews tomorrow for your roster! Tupou would look good in Blue!

Karma mate! God bless Twiggy!

Question need to b e asked about training methods and the S&C programme
What question would you like to ask Sully?
There doesn't appear to be any common links between these injuries.
Are you suggesting that the WF has more injuries than other clubs?
That's not my understanding from the injury list of other franchises.

- Harry Hoopert recruited with an ACL recovery issue which needed additional surgery. (2022 injury at Reds)
- Angus Wagner knee. I understand is a knee problem from last year. Meniscus? (2023 injury)
- Sifa Amone a fractured thump - not usual with props when in full contact sessions. (2024 Pre-season)
- Reesjan Pasitoa an elbow dislocation totally unrelated to his recovery from ACL recon. Intensity step-up immed pre-season. (2024 pre-season)
- Izack Rodda came with a stress fracture of his foot. Always difficult recovery. Presented in another location. Recent surgery now trying to fix a long term structural issue. (2021 initial injury)
- Felix Kalipu a niggling hamstring issue which eventually required surgery. Big rig. Not alone with this type of issue. (2023 re-occurrence)
- Campbell Parata - hamstring requiring surgery. Returning from shoulder recon from last year. (2024 pre-season)
- Atunaisa Moli recruited while on injury recovery. Being given every opportunity to regain full recovery. Played in A team against Rebels A team. Played only 5 games (Chiefs/Tasman) in 1922/23.
- Papillion Sevele - ACL while playing in Shute Shield 2023.
- Tom Robertson - ACL/2024 Sabatical (2023 injury)

- Jeremy Williams - concussion protocol following head contact in Reds trial.
- Marley Pearce - suspension.

Cron has always talked about the need to create/test depth - he's certainly been doing that as shown by the make-up of the A team against the rebels. (9 main squad, 3 Wider Training Squad, 11 older Academy)

Your list is certainly the worst in Aus, maybe close to Tahs?

Rebels had a nightmare run last year but so far so good (touch wood).

Force seem to have had a huge injury list in recent years. Biggest issue has to be the management of Rodda's return to play.

Rodda did a quad in warm up right? I feel bad for the Force with that one. Foot issues always take ages and he may not have got the miles into the legs due to it but the guy is so injury prone its a burden at this point.

Hoopert was back to full fitness and playing, he has re-injured it again at the Force
