Western Force 2022

I'd like to see Ralston at fullback, i think he is a super talented young player.
I think he could progress onto the Wallabies as an outside back, not sure if he would make it as a 13 though.

Looking for a backup fullback over here, want to give it a go, Mark?

He was born in Newcastle, attended high school in Casino and uni in Brisbane, surely he's played a game of rugby or two.

Disappointing that we won't get any home games for awhile now but if they need any inspiration they can look at how well the scorchers have gone and the Wildcats to show you can turn it into a positive

Agree with Mr Pilfer while the hit out was hard to get a reading on the players it does look like the possible starting backline of:

9) Fines, 10) Pasitoa, 11) Ala / Pulu (if fit in time), 12 Kuenzel, 13) Godwin 14) Mataele 15) McGregor

I too though Makara looked decent and not sure who started at 12 but he looked pretty decent too and not a bad size either.

I am really becoming a fan of Daniel Alla, decent size and a nice turn of foot.

Interesting that McGregor took almost all the kicks in the first two periods until Prior came on suggesting he is the possible starting 15.

Some good signs in the trial game, albeit hard to judge given the opposition. Grayson Makara though is a gun and it is time for him to be given a spot in the 23. Looks like they want to play Pasitoa 10, Kuenzle 12 and Godwin 13 though
Kuenzle looked to me better 12 when played there for brumbies so good to see he might start there. I really like his potential to kick on from what I saw of him at the brumbies.

Great signing if true, he has family back west so not surprising
Yep he got the making of a great signing if true, he went to school there didn't he before going to Southport? He only had one game at NPC , where he looked ok to me, I used to watch him at Southport too. I guessing he must be 21-22 now so would maybe finding his Crusader's dream disappearing if he not in extended squad by now, but still see him as a quite a good buy for Force.

His a really good 10/12 I dont think its that he played better at 12 he was a year or 2 older and got better from his last game.

But he was in fine form at the back end of last he played at 12.

Yes it was Kuenzel that started at 12. McGregor went into 10 in second half and Strachan to full back. Agree Alla looks good, looking forward to seeing him and Mataele on the wings.

Interestingly it looked like they were running Stander at 6 with Anstee at 8, Koteka at 7 and then Callan at 7 in second half. Not sure if Fergus is down the pecking order or just trying different things.

I would not read much into that as more likely trying different things
