Western Force 2019

Brumby Runner

Jason Little (69)
Harry Lloyd off to the Brumbies.
Excellent young man who revelled in playing for the Western Force over the past 2 years.
Especially benefited from the experienced front row and top level scrum coaching.
Going back home.
All the best Harry - thanks for your time in the West.

I will be happy to see Harry back with the Brumbies. One of the strongest props going round, I reckon. He certainly did give his all to the Force over the past couple of years.

There is a bit of an exodus from the West at the moment. Probably due to so many players here moving overseas next year. Will be unfortunate, but I expect Lee-Warner and Ferris to be next off the rank.

Shaker

Ron Walden (29)
Stander would be a massive loss. Practically an institution there, but reminded how good he is on the weekend.

Slim 293

Stirling Mortlock (74)
Issak Fines to the Brumbies?

Is that a confirmed destination?

It seems an odd choice unless he’s keen to play a lot of club rugby.........

What an absolute talent, thanks to the Force for giving him a contract and letting him step up there, I know alot of Brumby Fans where sad to lose him, but happy for him. Glad his coming home big things for the young man I think.

It's probably a big move to any aus super team at the moment but if you think your good enough, have a crack. the big thing looming over all teams is White, he will start where ever he goes, but Fines thinking he can fight for game time in Canberra isn't that much of a stretch.

Plus who wouldnt wanna move from Perth to Canberra :)

I'm surprised Burton isn't considering coming back to Aus. Not a lot of playmakers going around these days. Maybe his body is crocked...

Hoping to experience a big turnout at Phil.

Coach calls fans to Fill the Hill
October 14, 2019

Tim Sampson has called on all Western Force fans to get behind the club ahead of the blockbuster home semi-final clash against Brisbane City.

Force was crowned Minor Premiers of the National Rugby Championship, following a strong 57-33 victory over Sydney in the final round of the regular season. Sampson stated the players excitement heading into the Force’s first home NRC semi-final and highlighted the motivating factor of playing at home at UWA Sports Park in front of the Sea of Blue.

“In finals footy, you need that little bit of lift to get you over the line at the back end of a game. Filling the Hill with a lot of blue jerseys and t-shirts at MacGillvray will be fantastic.” said Sampson.

The Force and Brisbane City will battle it out for a place in the NRC Grand Final at 12pm (WST) at UWA Sports Park this Saturday.
