I love this. Again it shows the value of the work at the grass roots that RugbyWA is doing. These local boys have come through our club system and it's great. Look at all the blokes he played state schoolboys footy with. Even though some blokes have gone to loig for a while they're starting to come back. THAT is the value of having the Force over here.

Absolutely. I watched his highlights reel and he's got good feet and physicality, but like all highlights reels it's now just the challenge of applying those skills in a game context (and regularly).

The way he teases outside defenders by bouncing out and straightening, that'd work in any rugby code.

So.

10. Lance
11. Rona
12. Meakes
13. Peni
14. Morahan
15. DHP

They seem a little short on playmakers, but doing well in the big outside back category

im thinking coleman 12 meakes 13, with peni sharing bench opportunities with brache

So Newsome, Figg and Con Foley training with Force. Wonder if any of them will get a contract.

Don't know much about Newsome but Figg and Foley looked awesome in the NRC.

I'd love to see them bolster the Forces' squad and get some game time - Figg especially.

There is a Force insider over on TWF named General who is touting a 'suprise signing or two' coming soon hopefully someone in the centre to replace taps.

I'm going to start a completely unfounded uninformed rumour right now.......Beale to the Force in 2017

Newsome got some speed - Figg and Foley played well but both a little on small side for positions they played. Con Foley played outside centre in NRC. I don't think anyone should be unhappy if any of these players were signed as they all seem to have some good potential.

As I said over in the Brumbies thread, Beale is forever Tahs property (whilst in Australia). We lent him to the Rebels and that went fucking terribly. We gave them our favourite toy and they bloody broke it*.

Plus I'm not sure if Beale would last over there in the Wild West. He's a real latte sipping type of guy - not sure if the coffee beans in Perth would cut it.

* there was should be no accountability on Beale's part for his own (bad) actions. He is Australian Rugby's golden child (that is, if I represent Australian Rugby) and therefore should never be held responsible for what he has done, unless what he has done is awesome (which it usually is).

Anyone get the prospective shareholders survey today? Interesting how it was aimed at feeling out how much shareholders expect to be given a say in the running of the club.

I don't think shareholders should get much more than a right to vote on appointment of board members. Hiring of staff and on field decisions should be kept well away from mob rule.

Do you mean Frappuccino the slighty fruity* Tahs fan?

*Do I need to include this adjective, or can we take it as a given for Tahs fans?
