difference being you dont seem to be able to name your source, which over something like this, non life threatening issue of TC providing the force with a level of professionalism and ability unseen in a back at the team since inception, seems to suggest there isnt one.

A vey harsh and prob unnecessary assessment of some great players to have played and continue to play for the Force.

As i said that’s the word i have from a very reliable person im not about to go throwing names around but as i said i trust what i have been told.

I wasn't really having a go at you, GC. I was actually mucking about with waratah jesus who often fronts up to people at the 'Tahs and then quotes them. None of them seem to mind.

As is common in such circumstances, there has been so much noise in the form of conflicting rumours coming from the West in relation to the coaching appointment that it is virtually impossible for anyone outside the tent - and perhaps within - to separate fact from fiction. One rumour that I heard was that player recruiting had been suspended until the coaching issue was settled. That makes sense to me.
.

As far as i know this is true but it doesnt really mean much as there are only 4 spots left on the roster for 2013 and 1 is earmarked for Pocock.

just having fun, the absurdity of the statement was the humor.

TC is a standup bloke, i have no doubt that alot of uncontracted players have at least been sounded out about their interest in order for the team to make decisions later on. Just becuase someone enquires doesnt mean either side have commited to anything.

on another note.....there is a disturbance in the Force...the Rebel alliance is apparently making a play for Poey as well if you can believe anything Greg Growden writes.

Come on Force lets crack on with a coaching announcement and start locking some things down for next year. The expectation of improvement in 2013 is the only thing we have to hold on to at the moment. Good luck to the boys for the game against the Blues.

Don't know if it's been mentioned but the Force should try and get Dane Haylett -Petty (is that his name?) back from France. The OS stint would have done him some good.

I'm not sure he was wanted back here was he? He was in fairly poor form towards the end including that absolute shocker v the Reds. Good for him to go away, experience a different culture, play some good rugby and hopefully come home to prove any doubters wrong.

We should want all our ex-pat rugby players (of quality) back playing Super Rugby,.

Force very much tettering on the edge of relevance. The season is finishing badly, almost as a joke. The effort against the Blues was very much club rugby level. Really no direction and no idea of how to play. This season can not die soon enough for my liking because it is doing the Force name and brand no favours.

Force/Rugby WA, announce the coach and get started on salvaging the reputation of the Force. We used to have some balls and money behind us in the early years. The swagger has definitely gone. Have you got the plan and rugby know all going ahead to bring us back. I very much blame a lack of direction on the party of RugbyWA for the clusterfuck we are currently in. Get in the game and mix it up with the big boys.

got the Crusaders next week who will be looking for maximum points, it could get very ugly.

Cheika will be announced and Pocock will re-sign. There is one thing all you no good, stinking, talent poaching bums forget, he is too good a bloke. That's right, we at the Force are now officially....... playing the pity card.

I think Pocock has very much decided his plans for 2013. Slim I wouldn't be so cocky. I don't see the Brumbies going far in the post season.

Well let's be honest. What a shit game. Last 20 had some better moments.

Interesting to see how we could look in 2013. No sharpe or poey.

Nick cummins should hold his head up high. Unbelievable defense and runs the ball so well. Nalaga was looking for the ball all night. Im just very worried about next week. It could be very bad.
like 70 10 bad
I thought the ref was pretty average but not in anyones favor.

Cummins was good in defence but didn't get enough touches to be a factor on offence. Mafi, who I have praised seems to be struggling with his decision making at fullback. He seems to be struggling with whether he should be running on kicking, and when he does kick it hasn't been great. He is a great talent but the whole team funk seems to be dumping a giant steaming turd on his natural instincts to run the ball.

Mafi should stay on the wing or be tried at inside centre. Tupou has been good before but he did bugger all today. Put Cummins back to outside centre. Godwin to fullback or Seymour to fullback and Godwin to fly-half.

I didn't think the Force performance was that bad. Especially when we had a second choice backrow, a rookie in for Nathan Sharpe and our 3rd choice tighthead prop. We wasted plenty of opportunities in the first half and that near miss from Nalaga in the second half could have made a big difference.
