Not exactly the side I was predicting the Tahs would be rolling out at the start of the season

The size comparison is interesting between the sides. Tahs have a lot of size on the Force pack.
There’s a reason the Force have started poorly and finished well in their games. They get overpowered early but keep going till the end.

I think they have benefited a bit from sides switching off a little when 20 points up with a few minutes to play.
I don’t think the Tahs will be up by 20 with 5mins to go so hopefully they don’t switch off.

Even Australian players rave about Borthwick's talents, sounds like England got a substantial upgrade over Jones.

“Steve around all the forward play, the set piece, mauls, all the forward play was some of the best coaching I’ve had.

“He just demanded so much from the players, which is an awesome thing. Everyone wanted to work for him. It was a really good forward pack to be a part of.

“I think his attention to detail, not just with his expertise, with everything in general, was second to none. The amount of work he put in with pretty much every player in the squad was eye-opening to see.”

It must be a real concern to G&G's that the quality of coaching appears to be so much better outside of Australia.

You look at all the players who are improving significantly over there (Salakaia-Loto, Coleman, Scott-Young, etc..)

It doesn’t speak well for Hortons intelligence that he had to be told to use more than just his arms when he knew himself he lacked power in his throw….

He’ll probably have a blinder tonight now I’ve said this but he was a last minute pick up by the Force who was let go by the Tahs. Good luck to him but he wasn’t a top 10 Hooker in the country. The fact he was named in a squad just shows how cooked we are for Hookers more than anything.

I hope the first 5 minutes are not anything to go by with gardner. 3 or 4 shocking calls in a row. Fines clearly has a knee down and he doesn't call tackle then tahs Cleary take the maul to grownd.
Waratahs maul from a lineout and he calls not rolling away when the maul goes down. Good thing the TMO is into it.

Looks like everyone, players, coaches and refs need to go back to the law book and refresh maul laws. Pugh done for collapsing even though he was bound to the ball carrier. You can’t deliberately collapse a maul regardless of if you attached to the ball carrier

Which maul you referring to?
