I think this is just part of the reason he has not been as good, in most eyes, at lock internationally; when the Wallabies are picked, the dynamic changes, and maybe his role is less defined (to him)? It has baffled me a little that he has had that big block in stepping up a level. And he does not really seem at home at 6 at any level. His role in the team is LHL, the guy who runs a lot, has a big engine and gets to wide rucks early. I'm about to re-watch the game (one of life's great pleasures) but my first look last night was that he did exactly that. That's the beauty of the Tahs pack. Everyone has a job to do and does it. The sum total is greater than the sum of the parts.
