The challenge with advising the Minister of Finance about the price of finals tickets will go away if it comes with dinner for two at a flash eatery.

Yeah not too confident about getting much more than 55k. Though I've done my part, booked the flight down by full time.

I seriously think it's possible for them to get 70-80k. The rarity of the event, the large kiwi expat population, the likely interest from your more casual sports fans. I meaning fucking hell in almost 20 years this is the first ever home final nsw have had! Surely the public has to get pumped for this!

Hope you're right. Though I can't see them getting double the crowd of the derby semi at the 'better stadium'.

The Semi Final was a big deal, but the Grand Final is bigger and it's against a team that historically draws some the largest home crowds for the Tahs. The location of the stadium is an issue for the round robin, but for the grand final no one will give a flying fuck unless they aren't really interested in rugby.

70-80k is a bit of a stretch people. Considering the tahs v brumbies game didnt sell out i dont think we'll see anything above 60k. 55k would be decent.

Let's go Tahs!!

The Reds GF was off the chain, fucking awesome! No making excuses for those that aren't going. Fuck them. I'm an hour and a half by car and bus from Suncorp (on a good run) and I have never considered the travel when deciding whether or not to go to a game.

It's a home Grand Final. You stay at home for this and you will miss one of the greatest experiences for a sports fan and may very well die with one box not ticked off your bucket list.

The Saders fans in 2011 were everywhere. If for no other reason, the risk of Tahs fans being outnumbered should get you to the game.

Get to the game, bring your mates, wear as much blue as you can, paint your fucking face, don a wig, scream your tits off for the full 80 and leave nothing in the tank.

But seriously, (now that I've said my piece ;) ) no more talk about the crowd. It's Grand Final time people! Get excited!!

Might be surprised , big numbers will be possible.

Ive had league supporter mates , calling wanting to head out.to be a part of it. That have never been to a union game

I think the Tahs will capture the heart of Sydney this week.

Bring it on .............

At work, at school, this is #OurYear and #OurWeek.

You need to arrange for every single rugby fan to bulk email the daily telegraph should they not put us at number one.

Make this week a hostile takeover of the sydney sporting market[/quote]

NRL will be trying to drown out any coverage with their own publicity. "Tigers crisis" conveniently popping up

I mean, it doesn't matter, but I will need to inform Mrs Pfitzy the cost.

Info is in the email link in your info email (blue colour link) "Guide to purchasing seats in presale 2."

Costs are very cheap for what it is, particularly in cheaper seats. You can pay more to go to the pictures and see some retarded American actor kill thousands with a machine gun without suffering a scratch.

They may be going in to the final as underdogs, but I can see them winning by 15 points on the back of their set piece dominance and stonewall defence.

Yes, I expect the Crusaders to kick to the corners, win some lineouts against the feed and then crank up the pressure.
They may not even have to test the Waratahs defense if they chose to bomb into the ingoal or drive some lineout mauls or snap a field goal. Ie go over the Tahs rather than through them.

Have some faith, the Tahs seem to have had an answer for everything that has been thrown at them this season. They aren't going to go out there hoping for the best, they will go out with a well researched and well rehearsed game plan.

God I hope the 'Tahs can do this... but at the same time I have this nagging feeling that if the Brumbies could choke us for territory then the Crusaders will find it pretty easy too, only they'll be far more dangerous with the field position.

The boys have been awesome all season, but the Crusaders just have so many weapons. Still, can't wait to go and I seriously hope Sydney manages to fill the stadium!
