Been there, done that in Champagne. Can't remember which champagne one we went on, think it was Veuve. Unfortunately there wasn't much champagne tasted, most of it was tour of the (interesting) cellars.
Did it as part of a larger tour which included small champagne making wineries. Bought some bottles of the best champange I have had for 15 to 20 euro.
The wine tasting sounds like they want to get you drunk to pressure you into buying their overpriced vino. I'm sure Lindommer will be happy to do you some nice deals if you want some wine from smaller makers and you are into that sort of thing.

Hopefully the Tahs are well rested after the bye and hungry to put in a massive game against the reigning champs.
This week should see the return of TPN and presumably Palu will be in the run on side.

It is "free", as for the $100 "value", it depends what they are opening.
At Veuve Clicquot there may be a 26 euro tour, but it depends on what they are opening and tasting, the one I went on the tour was interesting and the 20 minutes of tasting was nice, but there was no vintage tastings without further charge

The Chiefs will dominate the tackles and are brilliant on counter while the Tahs are average in transition

That's my thought too. The Reds shut down a few great Chiefs opportunities and got a bit lucky on others (that dropped ball after Cruden's soccer kick, for example). Then they got a big enough lead to choke the Chiefs out. I don't think the Tahs can put the points on OR show the stinginess in defense.
yeah, Link knows how to beat the Chiefs, he gives them nothing, plays it tight, mauls and goes set piece to set piece where possible with lots of field position
I just can't see the Tahs doing that as they are still afraid of their home crowd

Conversely, I think our scrum will be stronger than the Reds, and if Hooper can get his head in plenty of Chiefs rucks, he should be able to slow them down, which was an important part of the Reds plan. The Tahs backline has been able to break lines with direct running this season, so's there's hope.
I still worry about our ability to dominate attacking rucks though.

The Reds are very, very good at capitalising on tight play and set pieces to execute exciting moves. The Tahs have shown the potential to do this in fits and starts this season, but -- as you say -- whether they have the patience or purpose to play a bit of field position is a different story.
This is a massive test for Robinson, Ben Tameifuna is just massive and just makes loose heads collapse under his weight if they get their engagement wrong as they can't hold the guy up

Every match this season is important and a potential turning point, but one gets the feeling that after a week off to review and consolidate lessons learned and opportunities missed so far this season, this outing against the Tribe will define the season for the Tahs.
The Tribe will be rueing their missed opportunities against the Reds where they were comprehensively out coached, and they will be out to demonstrate that last weeks performance was a one off.
One has to assume that that the Tahs coaching team have done their homework on the Chiefs (as Link clearly did), and it will be up to the players to execute their downfall at the SFS on Friday night.
Failure to execute an appropriate gameplan, or the absence of any reasonable gameplan will be an Emperor's New Clothes moment - when it is undeniably pointed out, for all to see, that the 2013 Tahs hype is just that.

Yes, the embarassing performance against the Brumbies early in the season could, viewing hindsight with rose-coloured glasses, be seen as a team struggling to adapt to a new gameplan, since the following performances have been an improvement. A similar effort at this point in the season will be harder to accept, especially after a week off.
Mind you, Cheika has been pushing the "it won't happen overnight, but it will happen" line pretty hard.

I think that the Reds should take the 2 points if the Chiefs win: they're victory will have stung the Chiefs and its hard to see them not coming out and punishing the Tahs.

And by now there should be elements of " it happening" starting to be evident. Friday will be their chance. We can't go on living in dreamland and hearing good words.
We need evidence, and we need it now. As I have said, evidence could be of either a well thought out gameplan OR great execution of a average gameplan.

The difference is that Link changes the Reds game plan from week to week based on the team they are playing. The Reds tried to take it to the Chiefs forwards. Very different game plan from what the Tahs are trying to work out.
If you try to play fast and loose with the Canes then they will typically burn you on the counter, or even when they get a little space when they get some good ball.
The new Tahs style is at risk of forcing it wide too early, not getting enough bodies to their own breaks and giving away too many easy turnovers. They need to attack the Chiefs forwards first. Problem is that Chieka seems too focused with getting his own style right fist. Against the Chiefs either it can work and look great, or the Tahs give away too much ball and get shredded on the counter.

I can see something similar to the Canes match; we'll score some nice tries and create a lot of chances. However we'll just be too poor defending the Chiefs counter attack and we'll lose by around 10, Cheks will come out and say we're a work in progress, when in reality we've been making the same mistakes every game this season.
