Really looking forward to this. I think the Tahs can trouble the NZ teams as they've been building nicely.
I am looking forward to it and I do 'hope' we can trouble the nz teams. 5 oz teams against 5 kiwi teams and largely only being able to select quality players from your own backyard still not sound like a fair contest...anyhow lets see how we go.

Everything has to go right for us: selection, lineout throwing, halfback clearance speed, box-kicking (none please unless its an emergency), Mark N (Nawaqanitawase)'s defence, choice of ref, etc etc. I really believe we can step up - only the Blues and Crusaders are out of our league - but everyone has to have an on day, no exceptions.

I'd like to see:

Bell Porecki HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes)
Cridge Holloway
Gamble RWV Hooper
Gordon Edmed
Foketi Perese
Mark N (Nawaqanitawase) Harrison Newsome

Horton Faulkner Holtz Sinclair Harris Grant Donaldson Roberts

Cridge is a gamble, he can be error-stricken but he is more powerful and we'll need that. If he's off-colour then Sinclair can come straight on. RWV has been more explosive than Harris the last two weeks, so start him and tell him to empty the tank and bring on Harris at 50 mins. Donaldson returns from the bench, as Harrison did last week. Douglas for Roberts if we go to 5:2. Front row to play 65-70 mins, there's an easier game next week to rest them up.

This game another I reckon will be cracker. I not sure who Chiefs have got out with injury, Lurch,ALB and Stevenson off top of head, not sure how Ioane , but will be good contest. I been a bit impressed with how much Tahs have come on this year, on the bits and pieces I have seen from them.

WFT is going on there. Nowhere to hide for his turnstile defence out wide.

Do Ross and Norris play same side? Both seem miles better options than Tauavao.

Apart from Nankivell that backline has a few blokes prone to some odd decision making.....

lol injured backline looks miles better:
9 Brad Weber
10 Josh Ioane
11 Emoni Narawa
12 Anton Lienert-Brown
13
14 Etene Nanai-Seturo
15 Shaun Stevenson

I really like that team. Hope RWV gets on around the 50m mark.

I mean he doesn't go close to scoring the tries Foketi did the last 2 matches. It's a massive downgrade.

This could be a good game, Tahs have obviously impressed most neutrals etc with their improvements this year. For Chiefs it will be midfield clicking that will be needed I think.
