Have to say I'm impressed with the Cheetahs so far this season. Genuine improvements from 2012 and always entertaining. Do feel for the Tahs though!

Well I think it was a much improved performance from the Tahs. The 9 was nowhere near as being made out in this thread. Although I had to back the Cheetahs on Superbru I'm glad the Tahs nearly won it.

Didn't realise that SANZAR employed blind Touchies, anyone know why?

I've always like the Cheetahs, they are under-rated, and they play entertaining footy, which is great to see. Paddy Ryan, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) and Foley were the three best in my mind.

More issues than just the half back...Foley needs to take more command....very little clean ball from the line outs...and defence...players slip off tackles all the time...a draw would have been a fitting result...

Coenie Oosthuizen and Brussow made a big difference for the Cheetahs. Connie really sorted the scrums and by god can Brussow tackle and slow the ball down. People have been talking about his demise all too soon.

Where the heck do the Tahs go from here? Commiserations to Tahs fans. It must be hugely frustrating. I really don't know what they can do.

Tah fans must be frustrated. I thought the Tahs looked much better and although a bitter result there were many positives to come from it. Tahs looked to play to their structures more. Although some bad decisions on occasions generally I thought they had better balance in their decision making. They looked more coherent. Although not quite getting the win they look to have taken a turn for the better. I would expect the pieces to fall into place in the coming weeks.

I think they will go a lot further when they stop missing tackles and leaking tries. The rest will follow.

i thought there were a few good things that came out of this. Foley is a class player and once he gets confidence as a leader he will come good. good awareness and good kicking game.
Folau is starting to get the hang of it! he is positioning himself better and is unreal under the highball. i reckon whenever the tahs get an advantage close to the line they should just put a kick in for him and theyll score a try a game off that play. every time they got advantage i was screaming at the tv "JUST KICK IT TO FOLAU".
Peter Betham is awesome - 3rd time ive said it in this thread. loved watching him.
tahs are fit & theyre starting to retain possession better but still too many dropped balls at critical times.
there coming together, that performance was actually enjoyable to watch and i think everyone would agree the team that came out tonight was atleast.... 3 times as good as the team that played the brumbies.
not all bad news! gotta keep trudging!

But he can't kick, so won't
Nick Phipps has to be looking pretty good right now.
start either bless the tahs sort that out. Lucas looks good every time I've seen him this year. Great dummy, puts defence in 2 minds, good sniper, but there's no one else to kick, so McKibben gets the start.
