Do you deserve to win when you don't score more points than the oppo?
Since we’re living in made up world wanna add the multiple bombed reds tries? Surely they “deserved” them because they set them up.
What on earth are you on about?

You don't have to score more points to not lose a game of rugby.

Forward passes … as I said earlier what is the point of touch judges?
That’s a good question. I was at the brumbies Waratahs match last week and the amount of times the brumbies wingers were a metre offside with a midfield kick I could count on two hands. Secondly. At around 77min there was a brumby knock on before a ruck, the AR went to his mike to tell Gus Gardner and Gus ignored him and let it play out.
ARs provide offside at the ruck and that’s all

Tahs scrum got absolutely no love, should’ve had more dominance awarded.

On the other side, thought Lachie Anderson had a stellar game on either side of the ball.

Canham has got such a motor for a lump of a lad but sadly has tits for hands.
I dunno - I reckon they were scrumming illegally most of the night. Definitely pushed early a couple of times, Tupou was pushing across and Bell went around the corner 2-3 times and I think they only got called for it once. Doleman could have called a lot more scrum penalities but I don’t think the Tahs would have got more than half of them.

Hard to see why that was not a penalty to the Tahs with that scrum.
Anyway, far too many errors by the Tahs in the second half.
Big effort by Reds to win.
Agree with the sentiment above that Doleman didn't want to call it.

Nonggorr being repeatly offiside in a defensive sequence with 4-5 offsides called in a row right on the Red's line was pretty soft.

Some moments of fortune really didn't bounce the Waratahs way unfortunately. Starting with Joseph Sua'ali'i and Kellaways clash and continued to things like the bounce of Kellaways kick though or the missed forward pass before Taniela's head clash/tackle a couple of phases later..etc.

But there were enough moments in their control too. Like the ruck security for the Uru turnover around 24mins into the game and then McReight gets another one on the return about a minute or so later (which I believe was Botha, who was also involved in that silly tip later) and suddenly Riley is running back getting held up, scrum, first Reds score. Two moments of poor execution and they go from 5 meters out, pressing for the 3rd score to letting the Reds back in the game.

If this argument is going to continue can we please correct your use of loose and lose
My original typo getting repeated me'thinks, but it was a loose game in places.

Suspect I need to be clearer with the scenario that exists where you don't necessarily win and/or lose.

i dont know who was more braindead, mckellar, the tahs, or the venue security not letting people move into the upper tier bays because of the rain.
